Gabriella Evans took a deep breath as she took a seat in the café were she had arranged to meet her one-night stand, she couldn't imagine how he was going to react when she told him what was going on.
Gabriella wasn't stupid, she doubted that he was going to react well when she told him that she was six weeks pregnant; he would probably think that she was trying to trick him or something.
Setting down her snake skin print body bag, Gabriella looked around wondering how long she was going to have to wait for him; he was coming from training and she knew that he hadn't been pleased with her constant calls.
Gabriella ordered herself a muffin while she waited, she felt a little nauseous and she hoped that things would be okay; she wasn't sure what was going to happen.
Hearing the bell on the door to the café, Gabriella looked up and stilled at the sight of the man that she was meeting; Joe Hart was hard not to notice and she could see he was far from happy about meeting up to her.
Joe looked around the café before his eyes landed on Gabriella, he wished that she would have left him alone; he could only imagine what his fiancée would think if she found out about this.
Gabriella offered Joe a small smile as he sat down across from her, he tucked at his hood so no one could see that he was meeting with another woman; he didn't need this all over the press.
"How are you?" Gabriella asked softly, she didn't want to just drop the bomb on him and she hoped that this wasn't quickly going to get out of hand.
Joe stared at Gabriella, he hadn't come here to play nice with the woman that he had cheated with; he was hoping to get rid of her so that he never had to see Gabriella again.
Joe was meant to be marrying his fiancée, Georgina, next year and he knew that there was no way what would happen if she found out that he had cheated on her while she was on holiday.
"Can we just get down to business?" Joe asked not wanting to waste more time than necessary with this, he wanted to get home since Georgina had plans for them and he knew it was wedding related.
Gabriella stared at Joe, this was so not how she had wanted this to happen and she knew that the best way to do this was to be completely honest with him; she just hoped he wouldn't completely freak out.
"I am six weeks pregnant," Gabriella revealed softly, she watched Joe for a moment as he stared at her before he started to laugh at what she had said.
Gabriella was completely silent as she waited for him to stop, this wasn't how she had pictured this going but she guessed that there had been other women that had tried to trick him like this.
Unfortunately for Gabriella this was no trick, Joe was the only man that she'd been with in the past four months and there was no way that her baby could be anyone else's.
"Nice one... now really what is this really about?" Joe chuckled looking at Gabriella, he might have been drunk when he had slept with her but he had the presence of mind to use protection; he wasn't going to buy it.
Gabriella didn't say anything as she stared at Joe, she waited for it to slowly dawn on him that she was telling him the truth; she wished that she was joking since she knew what this meant for him.
"You're being serious," Joe whispered feeling sick as he realised that she wasn't joking, he watched her reach into her bag and pull out a sonogram before she handed it over to him.
Joe stared at the image and felt his entire world collapse, he couldn't believe that he had done this and he knew that Georgina was going to kill him.
"How much do you want?" Joe asked looking at Gabriella, he knew what happened to other footballers when this sort of thing came out; he didn't think that he would come back from this type of scandal.
Gabriella stared at Joe, she swallowed and shook her head knowing that there was nothing that he could offer that she would ever want; she was just doing what she thought was right.
"I don't want anything," Gabriella said making Joe scoff at her words, she knew that he wouldn't believe her but she wasn't here for his money; she had her own and her business was doing so well right now.
The two were silent while Joe sat down the sonogram and tried to wrap his head around this, he couldn't even look at the image without wanting to throw up.
"I just wanted to tell you that in January you are going to be a father," Gabriella murmured looking at Joe, she wasn't expecting him to be a part of their baby's life; she couldn't force him to do that but she did want him to know that the choice was up to him.
Gabriella was perfectly happy to raise the baby without him, she would love their child and she was sure that her parents would be thrilled when she told them that she was going to have a baby.
Joe didn't say a word, he pushed the image back to Gabriella so that she could take it; he didn't want it and he knew that he couldn't deal with this right now, he was meant to be focusing on his up-coming wedding not the fact that he had gotten a complete stranger pregnant.
"Just think about it. You know my number if you want to be involved," Gabriella urged not wanting Joe to make a rash decision, she knew this was a big shock for him and she hoped that he thought carefully about what he wanted to do.
Joe didn't say a word as Gabriella collected her things before she walked away, his entire life was in ruin and he knew that he had little choice on what he was going to do; he needed to think what would make his family happy.

Joe took a deep breath as he stepped into his home, he paused hearing Georgina on the phone speaking with someone; he set down his training bag and he hoped that he would be able to pretend that everything was okay.
Gabriella's words rang in his head and Joe knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything; he would ruin his entire life if this came out, he doubted Georgina would ever forgive him.
It had been a drunk mistake on his birthday and it had come back to haunt him in the worst possible way, Joe couldn't imagine how he would ever explain this to anyone.
"Baby is that you?" Georgina asked rounding the corner to greet Joe as he came home from training, she moved to kiss him knowing that there was so much for them to talk about.
Joe tried to put his talk with Gabriella to the back of his mind, he couldn't allow it to affect his life; he would have to find a way to deal with the mess when Georgina would never find out.
"Is everything okay?" Georgina asked peeking up at Joe, she was a little surprised with how off he was and she knew how training got him down sometimes.
Joe forced a smile and nodded his head, he wasn't going to tell Georgina that he had gotten another woman pregnant; she would kill him then take everything that he owned.
"Just tired," Joe lied making his fiancée smile before she lead him into the living room, she had so much to tell him about and she knew that their wedding plans were coming together.
Joe didn't say a word as he listened to Georgina talk about their wedding, he felt horrible and he knew that he was meant to be getting married next year.
Georgina smiled completely unaware that her entire life was going to be turned completely upside down.
