Nerd in Disguise: Blood Bound

Chapter One

"Watch it nerd," he grunts as he runs into me, knocking my books out of my arms. I don't dare make eye contact with him, mostly because he'll see that I don't have an ounce of fear in my eyes.

I already hate this book lmao. -2 (A sin for all the really vacuous and egotistic haters as well.)

"Sorry, sorry," I squeak in terror, gathering my books and rushing to my class. I hear the laughter of the guy and his friends, probably making fun of the scared little girl who ran away from them.

...

Welp.

Before I blow my brains out I'm going to make myself useful to the world besides reading cliche books that are somehow different from any others. -1

I clutch onto my golden pendant of my phoenix medallion tightly in anger. I didn't want to play the timid, litte nerd act. And that's what it was, an act. I did it because it was the only way to lay low and not be discovered. No, I'm not a hidden celebrity or FBI agent. It's a little bit more complex than that.

Ah... I'm hating this book more and more. -1

I arrive in my class, the first one there like always, and head straight to the very back of the class. As a nerd, I should sit in the front like a good nerd is supposed to, but that's where I draw the line.

I need something to drink.

This book is sucking the smartness and sanity out of me.

Makes me thirsty. -1

I hate school with a passion.

Lmao.

You had to seperate that from the paragraph above... why?

Almost everyone hates school, and you think it's special that you hate it?

Mkay then... -1

-too long. she basically talks about how she knows EVERYTHING and how she expected MORE from an ELITE HIGH SCHOOL.-

If you expected more, then why the F*CK are you even THERE? -1

I pretend to scribble notes in class when really I'm observing everyone in the classroom. Sometimes, I doodle like a normal student. I've pretty much categorized every single person in this school, which was pretty tough considering how protected the files are.

You know that's illegal right? -1

"We have a brand new student named Jacob Smith."

"Jacob Smith."

You, dear author, have just earned 1,000,000 sins for that name. -1,000,000

He stares at me for a while, creeping me out in the process. I'm not much to look at. I should be the most bland girl here in this Academy, maybe that's why I get bullied. I deliberately fashioned my hair into braids. I even stuck on thick, framed eyeglasses. The clothes I can't do much since we all wear uniforms, but I don't try to change it to look cute. I sorely want to burn these rags, but that'd be troublesome.

...

I don't even want to express that hate I have for this paragraph.

If the first paragraph is THIS shitty, then I think I'll be dead before I get to chapter five. -1

"So why are you in this school? Is it your parents, or are you a genius?" He says bluntly.

"I'm here to lead dumbasses on and not be noticed and be cold to everyone I meet. Did I also mention that you are going to fall in love with me but I have a dark secret so I can't fall in love with you and I'm just going to be an asshole throught this entire book?" -1

Well, I sure didn't expect that.

In a school filled with elite students, that came from important parents, you really think no one is going to ask you that question? >/sigh.< -1

"Do you always ask these types of questions when you meet someone?" I'm rather amused at this new student's boldness.

...I'm too tired to even write what I hate about this one. -1

"Do you always answer questions with questions?"

I'm sure you did just that, so if you have a problem with it, you're being a f*cking hypcorite. -1

"No." I give him a clipped response.

That's not a "clipped response." All you said was no, and I'm sure that's just an answer. Also, could you stop with the 'I'm-dark-and-mysterious-and-full-of-secrets' bullshit? I'm getting really tired of it, Princess. ;) -1

"Cold..." He still grins.

Ah, I see. You typed this whole sequence out just to get a trait introduced, and the way you did this was... made him say it? Hahahaha, bullshit. -1

"Shouldn't you be paying attention in class?"

Shouldn't you be flirting and staring at her like a creeper so then you can get laid later?

Oh wait. You are. -1

"Well I came in the middle if the year. I'm already behind. Would you like to tutor me?" He winks flirtatiously.

So that's why he enrolled later. To get "tutored." Which is code for "get laid." -1

I just don't trust him.

Why don't you trust him? You clearly stated that important people enroll their kids into this school, so why can't he enroll late? Oh, that's right, because you're the f*cking protagonist and you won't get over yourself, and you think every hunch you have is correct and it somehow is. I call blasphemy on this book. -1

This dude just doesn't know when to quit.

Apparently this author doesn't either. -1

"Math."

Did you study everything before you thought of even stepping a foot into the school for this subject, too? -1

"With a Ms. Wallgren?"

Wallgren.

...

She has a part-time job at Walgreen's doesn't she.

God f*cking damn this book. -1

Great, he has more classes with me. To be specific, five out of seven classes.

OF COURSE HE DOES. I'M READY TO SLAM THIS BOOK DOWN AND MAKE MYSELF USEFUL TO THE WORLD. -1

Total Sins: 1,000,021

I don't know if I will be doing Chapter 2, the haters are always on their periods on this book... seriously, chill the f*ck out.
