I was thinking about Henry... again. Henry is tall, dark haired and has mysterious, deep, peaceful chocolate eyes. He is what I would say to be, complete contradiction to myself. I have empty grey eyes, as grey as the mist that rolls in on an autumns morn. My hair is "African sunrise"... ginger, it is ginger and more importantly it is a nuisance. At school, I am somewhat unpopular; I go unnoticed, due to the fact that I am gifted. However, Henry is somewhat popular, even though he is quite smart too. We are in the same French class; we sit next to each other. He doesn't really speak to me; we just sit in an awkward silence, speaking only when necessary. But when he does, it gives me something to be happy about.

I suddenly awoke from my boy-obsessive trance from the sound of my mom shouting "Penny! Please take Nova for a walk!" I quickly agreed. If I have French that day it's my second favourite time of the day, if not walking my little sausage is my uttermost favourite time. I walked downstairs to be greeted by Nova, her tail wiggling side to side with delight. I attached her lavender, daisy printed leash to her matching collar and lead her out. I have always loved living in Barnard Castle. Its fast flowing river and its castle ruins are truly picturesque. I feel safe here; it's a tight-knit community we all look after each other. I started to walk along my street with nova trotting obediently to the left of me. Nova knows everything; she may be oblivious to what I'm telling her but by telling her, I feel better. As were walking along the street, the sun shone brightly through the trees. In the glare a black silhouette was formed, it looked familiar....
