The moment the plane landed, my stomach twisted so hard I thought I might actually be sick. The wheels hit the runway with a loud thud, and my heart jumped like it didn't believe this was real. Like it didn't believe I was really here. Korea. Seoul. A whole new country, a whole new life, and somehow... seven men who felt like a storm and a safe place all at once.
Jimin's hand stayed in mine even after the seatbelt sign turned off. He didn't let go, not even when Jungkook stood up stretching like he'd slept for twelve years.
"Finally!" Jungkook groaned, cracking his neck dramatically. "I swear my back is gonna break."
Jin rolled his eyes. "You're young. Stop acting eighty."
Yoongi stood slowly, slipping his hands into his hoodie pockets. "He complains like an old man, but heals like a baby."
Hobi laughed softly as he fixed his jacket. "We're home. That's what matters."
Taehyung leaned closer to the window, staring out at the lights like he'd missed them. "Seoul looks pretty from here."
Namjoon looked over at me, his expression calm but warm. "How are you feeling, Naomi?"
I swallowed, my throat suddenly dry. "Like I'm gonna pass out."
Jungkook blinked. "Wait—seriously?"
I nodded, embarrassed. "It's just... a lot."
Jimin squeezed my hand gently, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. "It's okay," he murmured. "You're safe."
The soulmate bond sparked again—warm and deep, spreading through my chest like a slow burn. It didn't just comfort me. It grounded me, like an invisible thread tying me to them, reminding me I wasn't floating alone anymore.
I nodded slowly. "Okay."
As soon as we stepped out of the plane, the air hit me different. It was colder than I expected, but not uncomfortable. It smelled like city lights, fresh night air, and something unfamiliar that made my heart race with excitement and fear all at once. The airport was bright, busy, and loud, but everything was organized in a way that felt almost unreal.
Still, I could hear it.
The screaming.
It was distant at first, like a hum in the background. But as we walked further, it grew louder, sharper, more intense. My chest tightened.
Jungkook's head snapped up instantly. "They're here."
My stomach dropped. "Fans?"
Yoongi's expression darkened. "Yeah."
Hobi's smile faded, and even Namjoon's posture shifted—like leader mode switched on immediately.
Jin glanced at me. "Don't panic."
Taehyung stepped closer to me, his shoulder almost brushing mine. "Just keep walking."
But the moment we reached the doors leading outside, the noise hit me like a wave.
Screams. Cameras flashing. People calling their names like they were gods.
I froze.
My legs stopped working.
For a split second, I couldn't breathe.
Then I felt warmth.
Not just from one person—but from all of them.
Jimin moved in front of me first, blocking most of my view. His voice was low. "Look at me."
Namjoon stepped to my side immediately, one hand lightly touching my shoulder like an anchor. Jin stayed close enough that I could feel his presence behind me, steady and protective. Yoongi positioned himself slightly behind my other side, quiet but watchful. Hobi slid his arm gently around my back, guiding me forward with the softest touch. Taehyung walked close, his hand brushing mine for a second, and that bond sparked so bright it made me gasp.
