Joon's laughter echoed through the room as Naomi squirmed beneath him, trying desperately to escape his grasp. "Joooooonnnnn, stoppppp! I said I was sorry!" she gasped, her voice breathless from laughing so hard. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to twist away, but it was no use—his hands were relentless.
She had woken up earlier tangled between him and Yoongi, and in what she thought was a harmless idea, decided to wake them up by tickling them. Clearly... that had backfired.
"Yoongi—p-please make him stop!" she laughed, barely able to get the words out. "I promise I won't wake you up like that again!"
Yoongi sat up slowly, watching the scene with amusement, his lips curling into a small smile. "Promise?" he asked, tilting his head slightly as he looked down at her.
"I promise! Just get him off me!" she squealed, kicking lightly as Joon continued his attack.
Joon paused just long enough to pout dramatically. "Aww, baby, you hurt my feelings," he said, though his hands didn't stop moving.
Before Naomi could protest again, Yoongi lunged forward, grabbing Joon and tackling him onto the bed. The two of them immediately started wrestling, laughter replacing the earlier tension that had lingered from the night before.
Naomi pushed herself up, catching her breath, a wide grin spreading across her face as she watched them. She was just about to jump back in and join the chaos when the bedroom door suddenly burst open.
In came Hoseok, Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin—all at once.
They didn't hesitate. One by one, they launched themselves onto the bed, turning the already chaotic scene into complete madness.
"Good morning, guys!" Naomi laughed, crawling across the bed toward Jin. She straddled his lap without hesitation and leaned down to give him a soft kiss.
"Morning, princess," Jin replied, smiling warmly as his hands rested on her waist.
"We ended up all sleeping in the same room," Hoseok added, leaning against the headboard. "It was kind of hard to sleep with all the noise coming from this room."
His eyes flicked toward Naomi's oversized shirt—clearly not hers—and he raised a brow slightly, amused.
"Yeah," Jungkook chimed in, pouting slightly. "Why didn't you invite us?"
"Exactly," Jimin added, crossing his arms as he sat back against the pillows. "If you didn't want us there, you could've just said that."
Naomi blinked, her smile fading as she looked over at him. "...Wait. Who pissed in your cereal this morning?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly.
"Maybe you," Jimin shot back, rolling his eyes again.
That did it.
Naomi's expression hardened as she pushed herself off Jin and crawled across the bed toward Jimin. Without hesitation, she climbed into his lap, straddling him as she grabbed his chin and forced him to look at her.
"What is your problem?" she asked, her tone firm.
Jimin's attitude faltered almost instantly. His gaze dropped, his earlier bravado disappearing as he shifted beneath her, clearly affected by the close contact.
"Don't look away," she said, tightening her hold slightly. "You had a lot to say just a second ago. Now answer me."
The room had gone quiet, all eyes on them.
Jimin swallowed, his voice coming out softer this time. "I... I just wanted you," he admitted, avoiding her gaze. "And I was upset you didn't call me last night."
Naomi's expression softened slightly, though her tone stayed steady. "Then why didn't you say that, Chim? You know you don't have to act like that to get my attention."
"I'm sorry," he mumbled. "It won't happen again."
She studied him for a moment before letting out a small sigh. The tension in her shoulders eased as she gently released his face.
"Next time, just talk to me," she said quietly.
Jimin nodded.
Satisfied, Naomi shifted off of him and moved toward the edge of the bed, stretching slightly as the energy in the room settled again.
The playful chaos from earlier slowly faded into something calmer, more familiar. Eventually, they all made their way out of bed, one by one, heading off to get dressed and start the day.
A little while later, the group was gathered in the living room, scattered across couches and chairs in various states of relaxation. The TV played softly in the background, but no one was really paying attention.
It was one of those quiet, comfortable moments—where nothing needed to be said.
Naomi lay stretched across the couch, her head resting against Jungkook's shoulder while Jimin sat nearby, noticeably quieter now. Yoongi leaned back with his eyes half-closed, and Namjoon sat off to the side, scrolling through something on his phone.
Everything felt... normal again.
Peaceful.
Until Naomi's phone suddenly rang.
The sharp sound cut through the calm, instantly drawing everyone's attention.
She frowned slightly, reaching over to grab it from the table. Her eyes flicked to the screen—
And her expression shifted.
Just slightly.
But enough for the others to notice.
Namjoon looked up immediately. "Who is it?" he asked.
Naomi hesitated for half a second before answering.
"...Jackson."
