Courtney's POV:

I smiled as I watched my husband get into bed next to me. We were having another baby!

"I can't believe we're doing to have another kid." He said, snuggling up to me. His tone of voice sounded plain and boring which caused me to frown.

"Aren't you excited?" I asked looking into his teal eyes. He shrugged.

"We've done this before, Princess." He says closing his eyes shut.

"Doesn't mean that you shouldn't get excited. Duncan, this is our fourth kid. It's a big deal." I raised my voice by just a little. Okay, maybe I was over exaggerating but he could at least pretend he was excited.

His eyes opened, "wait, don't tell me your mad at me!"

I didn't say anything. I was mad at his lack of support. I crossed my arms over my chest and let out a huff. I was obviously hinting that I was furious with him.

He sighed, "babe, I'm sorry if I offended you. It's just that I'm sort of used to this thing now. Doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to having this kid." He kisses my stomach softly and I smile.

"Yeah, I guess." I smile and he leans down to plant a soft kiss on my lips.

"Goodnight, Princess."

"Goodnight, Ogre."

Duncan's POV:

"I'm going to have a baby sister!" Susie squeals as she bounces up and down in excitement.

Courtney laughs, "maybe. We don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet."

"I say it's a girl." Alex says as he sticks a sausage onto his fork and eagerly bites into it.

"I say it's a boy." I smirk up at Alex who rolls his eyes.

"Boy," Aspyn adds.

"Girl!!" Susie screams as she shoves a piece of her scrambled eggs into her mouth.

"What about you, Princess?" I ask looking up at my wife who is pouring herself some orange juice.

"Girl." She replies looking down at her stomach. It's still the same.

"Hmm...let's see." I say looking at Aspyn and mouthing a 'were right'

"We will." Courtney smirked as she sat down next to me. I couldn't resist the urge to kiss her so I grabbed her and started kissing her.

"Ew! Get a room!" Alex yells, his mouth being stuffed with sausage.

"Mommy! Daddy! Stop it! I think my eyes are burning!" Susie cries.

"Aww!" Aspyn says as I pull away from Courtney giving my wife a wink that caused her to blush. Man, how I wanted to have my way with her right here, right now. No, Duncan! Your kids are right there! Who care- no Duncan she's already pregnant!

Alex gives his sister a glare, "aw at what?" He asks.

"Mom and dad your relationship inspires me so much." She says staring at us.

"Since when did you agree to mom and dad making out in front of us?" Alex asks giving his sister a disgusted look.

"Oh Alex, you'll learn once you find someone to love." Aspyn says.

"Ugh! See! This is what I'm talking about! Ever since she got back with Eddy she's been nothing but a lovey dovey loser!" Alex insults his sites and she throws a sausage at him.

"Aspyn!" Courtney yells while I start bursting into laughter. Courtney gives me a shove and I continue to laugh.

"What?! He insulted me!" She complains standing up from her seat.

"What! He insulted me!" Alex mimics  his sister.

"I don't care! Both of you just shut up!" Courtney yells causing everybody to gasp.

"I'm done with you two arguing right in front of me! I'm sick of it!" She screams before running up the stairs. I shoot Alex and Aspyn a glare before running up the stairs after my wife.

I knew it was the pregnancy, it always got her upset and stressed her out. I didn't blame her. I walked into our room and found Courtney sitting down against the wall. I sit down next to her and rap my arms around her as she starts crying. I always feel my heart ache whenever I hear my Princess cry, it makes me want to cry with her. But I know I have to be strong, for her.

"Shh...it's okay baby." I whisper as she sobs into my t shirt.

"You know I didn't mean to scream like that?" She says sniffing in between words.

"I know, I know." I say hugging her tighter.

She looks up at me before kissing me. I close my eyes and deepen the kiss. Not wanting it to go any further, I pull away and she smiles. I place my head on her shoulder and stare up at the ceiling and we sit there, in silence. It wasn't awkward silence, it was more of a peaceful silence that made us both relax.

I hear a knock on the door but don't say anything. "Come on," Courtney says, her voice still hoarse from crying.

"Mom..." Aspyn walks in followed by Alex and Susie. They all walk over to their mother and give her a hug. Our family wasn't known to be the kind that would hug and be emotional. We did of course love each other. We just didn't show it that much.

"We love you, mommy." Susie says and Courtney hugs her again.

"I love you guys too. More than anything else in the world. This family means so much to me." Courtney whispers.

I smile at my family. I loved them, so much. Id do anything for them. I'd risk everything for them. And I couldn't be happier to welcome another child into this family. I loved my kids and wife with all my heart. And I can't thank Courtney enough for giving me this family.
