"We can FaceTime everyday, okay?" Aspyn said into her phone and Alex groaned. His sister had been talking to her boyfriend on the phone for at least 2 hours now. He was trying to watch TV but she wouldn't let him. He kindly, well, rudely but anyways, he asked her to go to her room but she refused.

"Okay, I have to go," Aspyn said and Alex sighed in relief, finally! He waited for her to end the call, but she didn't. He almost threw the can of cola he was drinking at her when she and her boyfriend started doing the "no! You say goodbye first!"

After that went on for about 2 minutes, Alex got up, snatched the phone and ended the call. Aspyn looked up at him in disgust.

"Hey!" She snatched her phone back.

"Look, I get that he's in a different country now and you want to talk to him and all. But seriously? The 'no you say goodbye'?" He argued.

She put on a innocent smile and started doing something on her phone and Eddy proceeded to watch the show, or at least attempt to watch it. He thought he could finally watch the TV in peace. He was wrong. His parents walked downstairs in the middle of a argument.

"Come on princess! It's just for one week!" Duncan begged as he raced after his wife downstairs.

Alex rolled his eyes. "No," Courtney began, "I am not spending a whole week with your mother." She finished.

Aspyn and Alex both looked at each other nervously. They hated visiting their dads mother. She refused for them to call her grandma, she always made comments about their appearance and she was just plain rude to them. Especially Courtney.

"Mom, dad, what's going on?" Aspyn spoke up nervously. She hoped with all her heart that they wouldn't have to visit their grandma. Or as she preferred they call her, young mom. Like what is that supposed to mean?! Your not our mother, nor are you young.

"Well, your grandmother has invited us to stay with her for a week. And no, I'm not talking about my mother." Courtney said irritated.

"Guys, I get that my mother is not the grandma of your dreams but come on! I haven't seen my mom in over a year!" He complained.

"Then you go see her. Just leave us out of it." Courtney snapped and Alex and Aspyn nodded in agreement. Sure, Courtney was being harsh, but she had every right to. Duncan's mom despised her. She also for some reason, kept making her kids miserable. Every time they visited Courtney tried to make nice small talk with Linda (Duncan's mother) but she would never listen. Instead, she'd interrupt and make a comment about Courtney's, quote, "slim but curvy appearance" and how it was "messed up and irregular" like she's one to talk!

"Oo! We're going to visit grandma Linda! Yay! She always gives me candy!" Susie shouted as she jogged down the stairs.

Susie was always every grandma's favorite! Why wouldn't she be? She was a angel child. But she wouldn't be grandma Linda's favorite for long...it was the same with Alex and Aspyn, once they went over the age of 5, grandma stopped spoiling them and started criticizing them.

"Oh, she won't be handing candy out to you forever.." Aspyn rolled her eyes.

Duncan sighed, "come on, just one week!"

Aspyn, Alex and Courtney all shouted, "NO!" In unison.

She didn't get it. Courtney specifically remembered saying no! But here she was, in the car with her husband and 3 kids heading off to hell...grandma Linda's house.

"Oh come on! Once you see your cousins you'll get better." Duncan told his kids.

"There going to be there?!" A shocked Susie replied to her father.
