I woke to the familiar jingle of my phone. The caller ID read " Joe Sugg". Why was he calling me at this time in the morning? In fact, why was he calling me at all?. I pressed the green answer button.

"Hello Joseph, how may I assist you?" I said, messing around.
"Hello Miss Howell, I was hoping you would grant me the pleasure of meeting me in town this fine day?" He replied, playing along.
"That's sounds lovely, I'll meet you in Trafalgar Square at noon."
"Looking forward to it, and er Charlie?"
"Yes.."
"Don't forget your camera."
"Wait how do you know I-"
"See you at noon."
Then he hung up. How did he know I was into photography?
"Charlie! Do you want waffles for breakfast?" Dan shouted through the keyhole, interuptng my thought.
"Yeah! I'll be down in a sec!"
I threw on a simple black skater dress, shoved my feet into some white Converse and grabbed my cat beanie off the back of my door. Downstairs in the kitchen, Dan was cooking waffles while Phil was nowhere to be seen. I smiled and looked behind the door. There he was curled up in a ball, with a clown mask on.
"Nice try Phil." Slightly psychotic laughter came from Dan's direction.
"Damn it!"
"Phil I just have secret ninja senses." This caused them both to start jumping around the room making, what sounded like monkey noises, circling each other with their hands held up.
"Oh by the way, I'm going out with Joe today."
They suddenly stopped their ninja act.
"Charlie's got a date with Joe, Charlie's got a date with Joe!" They both started repeating in a sing-song voice, skipping around the room. I grabbed two cushions from the sofa, throwing them both, successfully hitting Phil square in the face with one and tripping Dan up with the other.
"Shut up you wierdos, it's not a date, we're just meeting for coffee. Oh and which one of told him I was into photography?" I said, raising my eyebrows. The pair of them sat there with a sheepish grin on their face's.
I smiled and went into the hallway, grabbing my jacket and phone, then going back for my camera's, normal and polaroid because I can. I walked down the street to the tube station, scanned my Oyster Card and hopped on a train to Trafalgar.

As I walked out of the station I imediatley regretted leaving my sunglassess behind, it's November and the sun was still blinding. However I was in luck, my friend Hazel lived in an apartment inside the square, I could borrow glassess from her and give them back at the end of the day. After popping into Hazel's, I walked back out into the square and started looking for Joe. It didn't take long to spot him, he was sitting on a bench in a black trench coat and black hat holding a camera, he was vlogging by the looks of it. He saw me pretty quickly and waved me over.
"Look ladies and gentlemen this is my friend Charlie," he announced pointing the camera at me. "I know its shocking, I have friends other than Caspar and Oli." He turned off the camera then and greeted me with a hug.
"So Miss Howell, a little birdie told me your into photography is that correct?"
"More like two very large birdies and yes it is correct." This got a laugh out of him. Clearing his throat he said.
"Well Miss, did you bring your camera?"
"Right here." I said getting them both out of my bag. He grabbed my hand a pulled me through the trees, stopping by a tall, willow tree.
"Off you go, I want to see your magic, Dan and Phil showed me some of your photos last night, mostly of trees, so take it away."
So I did, I spent about half an hour snapping various shots of the tree from several different angles. Joe gave me the idea of sitting under the leaves and taking a picture of the sky through the gaps in the branches. When I was done he picked up my polaroid and said to me. "This is a polaroid right?" I nodded. "Well I have a fun idea." He said smirking and handing me the camera. Then he ran around the area picking various wildflowers, setting them in a pile at my feet. When he was satisfied with his selection he came back over to me.
"Now, lie down under the willow and spread your hair out." I gave him an odd look but did so anyway.
He then began to arrange the flowers in my hair. He picked up my polaroid and spent several minuites to work out how it worked. Then he stood ubove me and took the picture. He gestured for me to get up. I stood, shaking the flowers out of my hair. He held up the photo he'd just taken, it looked so professional.
"Wow this is amazing." I said. He linked arms with me and we walked over to a coffee stand, he ordered two latte's, how did he know that was my favourite? Clearly the "large birdies" had been hard at work, telling Joe all about me.
"So, have you enjoyed yourself so far Miss Howell?"
"Why yes I have Joseph, thank you."
"It's not over yet, just checking... are you afraid of heights Miss Howell?"
