I was leaving my last final of this school year. I'm so happy. Like y'all just don't know. I've been so stressed and looking rough worrying about my finals. I know if I receive anything less than an A in any of my classes my parents are gonna trip.

I decided to go to Walmart to get some groceries because I was cooking tonight. Me & diamond are gonna celebrate kind of. Plus I'm off until next Wednesday so I need to stock up the house. I decided to cook some fried chicken, rice, Mac n cheese & a salad. So I went to get the stuff.

"Hey baby". I looked and seen the guy from the party. "Hi" I said because I had forgot his name. "Jayla? Right?" He said "yea" I said. "Why you always being so stuck um ma"? He asked. "I mean, I don't really know you" I said walking away. "Give me your number then" he said. So I gave it to him & walked away. I'm thinking I hope he don't think he finna get a lil boo thang or something.

When I got home I put up the groceries & started cooking. I checked my phone & seen a few texts.
229-555-555: hey ma, it's trey
229-555-555: hello?
I started laughing
Me: wassup?
Then I continued to finish cooking. Bout time I was finished, diamond was home from work. She came in with a few bottles of wine. I already knew we were going to have a good time. I checked my phone again.
229-555-555: nothing just seeing what you were doing. I've been noticing you a lot on campus. I take classes at FAM too.
Me: oh, that's cool. I've never noticed you before.
229-555-555: tags because you always looking straight ahead when you're walking or with some dude.
Me: oh you're prob talking about my ex. We're still friends.
Guess I should save his number now
Trey: oh, y'all still got something going on?
Me: Nah
Trey: good because, you gonna be mine.
"Who you over there Textn because you sure is quiet" diamond ask. "Girl, that boy from the party" I said laughing. " oh really" she said.

We ended up having a good girls night. I was about to shower when I remembered that I forgot to txt Trey back. I'll just txt him back when I get out the shower. 40 mins later I checked my phone & saw 2 texts & a missed call from trey & a FT from Alex. I called trey back & we ended up talking otp all night. I never got to FT Alex back.

I woke up the next morning with a long good morning text from trey. Oh lord guess we're talking now.
Trey: good morning baby. Hope you slept well, I enjoyed our talk last night & was wondering if you would let me take you out tonight? Around 8.
Me: I did too, & sure.

I was lowkey excited to be going on a date. It's been a minute. I ain't trying to rush nothing. Just talking is cool for right now. So all day I just cleaned & washed clothes. The day went by fat because when I checked my phone it was 6:10p.m so I went to my closet & decided to pick put what I wanted to wear. I decided on a nude crop top and matching fitted skirt and some nude heels. I went to shower & 1hour layer I was ready. I really didn't know how I wanted to do my hair. So I slayed my makeup & just decided to wear my hair Ina bun. It was about 7:15 so I just chilled. I checked my phone & seen a text from Alex.
Alex: we're you been you didn't respond to my FT last night.
Me: I was otp my bad best friend
Alex: so Wyd?
Me: getting ready for a date 😏😊
Alex: well I guess you obviously don't know that I still love you, but I hope he treats you right.
Me: 😳 thanks lol
About 7:35 trey called & asked for directions to my house. By 8:05 he was here. Can't lie he was looking real fine. "You ready" he asked "yea" I said. "You look so beautiful ma" he said while opening the door for me.

We ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory. It was my first time going. The good was really good but the Cheesecake was EVERYTHING. maybe because that's my favorite dessert but it was really good. After dinner we went to the movies to see Straight Out of Compton. The movie was pretty good.
Overall it was a good date & I enjoyed myself
