Chris and I stood there in shock. When did this happen. Please don't tell me that Leah is going to stay out here in California with Crawford. I just don't know what I'd do without my best friend back home.
I mean how are Leah AND Crawford going to be able to see their child.
"What're you going to do when Leah and I have to go home tomorrow?!" I blurted out without even thinking. I quickly shut my mouth. "Sorry Le but I'm just concerned for you." I looked at Crawford and Leah who both nodded.
I felt an arm around my shoulder and I was dragged into the kitchen. "Do you really believe that their relationship is going to last. Especially when Crawf and I go on tour. I just don't want Leah to get hurt if she sees girls running up to Crawf on YouTube or something." Chris seemed worried.
"Don't worry, Le is a strong girl she knows how your life is." I reassured Chris. He smiled for a second then his smile disappeared.
"What about us?" Now he looked like someone took a hammer to his glass heart. "I mean what's going to happen when you go back to Illinois? Will we stay connected or will we drift apart? I'm just scared Ri. I really like you and I want us to be together." Chris looked down.
I felt really bad, but he was right. What is going to happen to Le and Crawf's relationship. And what's going to happen to me and Chris's relationship?
"I may not know what's going to happen when we leave tomorrow, but what I know is we should use the little time that we have left to enjoy each other. So stop worrying about tomorrow and let's go out to the living room with them and sit down and talk. Ok?" I finally said. Chris smiled, grabbed my hand, and we walk out to the living room together.
"I know that leaving tomorrow isn't going to be easy," I said to Leah, "but I know we can get through it together. For now let's just enjoy each other's company." Everyone nodded and we started talking.
We talked until 2:46 a.m. We really didn't care, but we knew we had to get some sleep so Chris and I shared a bed, and Le and Crawf shared a bed. I passed out instantly. I fell asleep thinking about Chris and what I said earlier; 'I know leaving tomorrow isn't going to be easy, but I know that we can get through this together.'
