*A few years later*

After the wedding Chris and I decided to have another kid. What we didn't excpect, was twins.

We had a girl and a boy. Mia Collins and Adam Collins. They're now 7 years old. We also have Oliver who's 14 years old and then we have our 5 year old daughter, Isabel.

So in total we have 4 children. Jack's been going on tours so he hasn't been able to see Oliver, but Olivers been hard at work with school anyways.

I was currently making dinner for everyone.

"Hey beautiful." I heard Chris say and wrap his arms around my waist.

"Hey Chris." I said.

"Smells good, what is it?" He asked.

"Spaghetti." I said.

"Sounds delicious. I'll call down the kids. Don't worry I'll be gentle with Oliver." He said.

"Oh no. I'll get Oliver you get the other three and I'll quickly finish this and get Oliver. I need to speak with him anyways." I told Chris. He nodded and was off.

You see Oliver is a good kid and all, but he's started to slack off a little and I need to find out what's distracting him.

I finished the spaghetti and put it on the table. I headed upstairs and went towards Oliver's room.

I knocked on the door. "Oliver can I come in?" I asked

"Yeah mom!" He yelled back.

I opened the door and he was on his bed working on a project. I smiled and sat next to him.

"Oliver, don't get mad at me for asking, but what's distracting you?" I asked and he sighed.

"A girl." He said flat out.

I pulled him into a partial hug and kissed his head.

"Is it a crush?" I asked.

"Yeah." He responded.

We have a pretty good mother son relationship, since Jack wasn't around enough to be a father figure. Chris usually is a playful kind of father. Oliver is more quiet than everyone else. He's like his mother.

"Alright well does this girl like you back?" I asked him.

"I don't know. Should I take the chance and ask her out? Or should I wait a little longer and find out if she likes me or not." He asked me.

"Sometimes you have to take a chance, it's your option. I can only help you so much. I can't decide for you." I told him.

"Thanks mom for the advice." He said and we went down stairs and ate dinner.

Sometimes it's okay to take chances. With girls you never know what they're like until you actually discover their personality.
