I woke up to a loud bang and yelling. It came from the kitchen. I got out of bed and went downstairs.
"You did what with Riley!" I heard Chris yell. Who was he talking to.
"I'm sorry man! I really am!" I heard someone that sounded like...Taylor!
I froze where I was. I can't believe Taylor told Chris about what happened.
"Sorry isn't going to fix this Taylor! You kissed Ri and almost did stuff with her!" Chris seemed like he was about to break. Or punch Taylor. I ran down the stairs, and he was about to punch Taylor.
I ran up to him and stood in front of Taylor. "Violence isn't going to fix anything Chris." I said calmly and held his hand. "It won't EVER," I turned to Taylor, "EVER happen again." I turned back to Chris and kissed him. He smiled at me then went upstairs.
"I'm sorry, but I had to tell him I didn't want to wait any longer. I'm really sorry Riley." He said and I saw tears forming and begin to roll down his cheeks. I hugged him tight.
"It's alright. I don't think you should go home tonight. Crash here for the night." I told him and walked him up to my old room.
"Are you sure Chris won't get mad?" He asked me.
"I'm sure he won't get mad." I giggled. He laughed and went to lay down.
I went to me and Chris's room and lay down. Chris was facing me and he was smiling.
I snuggled up close to him. "Did you let him kiss you?" He asked and his smile faded.
"Why would you ask that? Of course I didn't. I didn't know what was even happening at first then after I told him to stop, and he stopped." I said and turned away from him.
"I'm sorry Ri I was just wondering." He said and pulled me close to him.
"It's alright. Just get some sleep Chris." I said and he held me closer.
I woke up and Chris was still sleeping. I had to go feed Oliver. So I slipped out of Chris's tight grasp and went to Oliver's room.
I picked him up and brought him downstairs to the kitchen. I made him a bottle and put him in his play pen. I turned on his favorite cartoon and heard footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Tay.
"Morning." I said. He groaned and went to the kitchen to get cereal.
Chris came down shortly after that. He also went to the kitchen and got cereal.
"You guys are really similar." I said and they both shrugged at the same time.
Oliver started crying and Chris got up and picked him up when I was about to get up.
It was really silent. Taylor and Chris we're usually horse playing right now and I had to get Oliver to stop crying. It's different now, they haven't talked since last night.
Taylor finished eating and came to sit on the couch. I walked over to Chris and took Oliver. I put him back in his pen.
I went back over to Chris. "Why aren't you guys horse playing like usual or even at least talking?!" I asked.
"I don't know okay?!" He yelled and went upstairs.
Whats wrong with him? I asked myself.
I went upstairs and into the room. "What's wrong with you two? You're supposed to be best friends and talk." I said.
"I don't know! Okay!" He yelled.
"You haven't even tried talking to him yet!" I yelled back.
"So! He's probably mad at me for yelling at him and almost punching him! I don't want to talk to him and hurt our friendship! I want us to stay friends! I don't want to end up saying something stupid! If I try to talk to him, he'll probably flip out if I say something stupid on accident!"
