The Projects: A Manual by Blair Willows
The training of projects is one of the most important responsibilities a princess can have. It is très easy to do, however, as long as a princess grasps these simple steps to take a fledgling and create a masterpiece.1: Evaluate
Obviously a project, being a project, has already been carefully evaluated. This evaluation is slightly different, however, as this time you are looking for specific strengths and weaknesses. This way it will be much easier to see what you have to work with and what you have to work on. Note these choices to discuss what you can do and how, just below. Make sure your changes will be productive and will beset a positive outcome. Stray projects are not the goal here.2: Discuss
Find time to talk with your project one-to-one. Tell her what you have found in your evaluation, and discuss what, when and where she can work on this. This is also a good step to see how eager the project is - a project can be dropped at any time, remember, and nobody likes someone who isn't dedicated to the work that's needed.3: Lessons
Lessons are best done in a private place - the Japanese garden in school behind the field would be a suitable place, as the hierarchy states that only subjects invited in by princesses, queens, and kings may reside there. During step one and two you have chosen the lessons you shall be taking. Lessons include: poise, conversation, hierarchy knowledge, personal/general fashion, and thrown (a lesson which takes all knowledge project has so far and testing it at once in private area). Train your Project in what is most suitable in a way you think will be most effective.4: Testing
Is your projects ready for princessdom? It is very important to find out before it is too late. Test your project in an urban area and do not remind project of anything. They must dress themselves, choose where to sit and who to talk to, etcetera. This step must go on for one day to a week. Tell your Projects as soon as their test has finished if they passed, because hangers-on who fail can get rather disruptive if they had got particularly attached to the idea.5: For Real
Invite project to the queen's table, assuming they are dressed/acting appropriately. If needed, hold this step off until project is appropriate. Let project stay unless they are inappropriate to show how easy it is to be knocked out of the queen's table. If they are appropriate for a long amount of time in a row (two weeks or so) they may be ready for Judging.6: Judging
This final step is mandatory before a project is crowned. Project must stand before princesses while they make judgements over step five. Final decision goes to the queen, but can be discussed and overruled by a unanimous Princess decision if it goes against the queen's.And there you go - a mindless project to a graceful princess. And it was all down to you, princess. Enjoy your projects' successes and master the art of teaching your art.
