"I'm sorry lady, you are not permitted in here. Please leave," the burly man at the door said. Blair kept her calm, as she always did. What else could she do?
"I have been sent to this court cry as a final judge?" she asked. 'There must have been a mistake' sounded entitled and besides, it was incredibly overused.

"Well, you have been sent by mistake," he hissed rudely, "please leave, we have the future queen entering by this very door and I am sure she would prefer not to have to move scum from the door herself." How dare he? Okay, she thought, one, two, three.
"I am the future queen, as it happens. Blair Willows? I have a QN card right here," she said, gracefully pulling out a gold ID card the palace had given her.

"QN cards are not of use here. Please leave unless you can prove royalty," he said. Blair could not believe him.
"I can guarantee that the future queen shan't come if I leave. The final decision will not be made without her, I assume?" she asked, a slight edge to her voice.
"Yes, lady," the man agreed.
"Well, good day to you, sir, and I do hope you won't be fired for not letting a princess who is making court judgement enter." Blair turned on her heel and left the door.

SASSIEST QUEEN IN ALL THE WORLD!
These were a few of the newspaper headlines Blair caught sight of as she sat reading online. Ha. This security guy was a knobhead.

"Princess?" someone asked from behind the door. It sounded like a child.
"Yes," Blair said, "do come in." A pixie-like child shuffled in. Her raven-black curls shrouded her freckled face, only peeping out when the girl brought her pale fingers to her hair and pushed it carefully behind her ear.
"Hello, princess," the girl mumbled.
"Hello. Who are you?" Blair asked.

"I'm Blai- umm, Bless," the girl muttered, "I've been told to come here and give you vanilla coffee."
"Oh, I didn't ask for some, did I?" she wondered allowed.
"No, but Mam said you like vanilla coffee in the morning." Oh! The girl was a daughter!
"Can you tell your mum thanks, but no thanks. I have to be completely in control today, no coffee vibes. But thanks," Blair said mindlessly.
"Okay," Bless said quietly, before leaving the room. Just by the door, a little glass ball dropped silently from her hand onto the plush carpet.

As soon as the girl left, she sped down the steps leaving the coffee on the landing for someone to pick up later. Part one had worked perfectly - now time for part two.
