Chapter 8

Katherine's POV

So today we are going to find out the gender of the baby. I woke up with Luke's arm wrapped tightly around me.

"babe it's time to get up. we have our appointment in half an hour" I said turning to face him, he woke up and groaned.

"ok i'll get ready" He said sitting up and Lyric came running into the room holding her batman teddy.

"mama dada!" she said and Luke picked her up and placed her on his hip.

"morning baby girl" he said kissing her cheek and she smiled.

"morning dada" she giggled and I watched them thinking how did I become so lucky? I got up and looked in the mirror and I looked really big for 6 months. I shrugged it off and walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, I didn't wash my hair because I was so tired. I walked out and got changed into A white vest, black jeans, black combat boot and a denim jacket and I left my hair down.

"you look sexy" Luke said.

"sexy mama" Lyric giggled. I laughed.

"no baby you don't say that" I laughed. I grabbed Lyric back from Luke and tool her into her room and changed her into a pink and grey shirt that said 'super cute', dark blue jeans and white high tops Ashton gave her and I brushed her blonde hair into a side ponytail.

"babe i'm ready" Luke said standing in the door.

"ok so am I" I said, slowly standing up but Luke walked up to me and helped me up. "Thank you" I said. Luke grabbed Lyric and strapped her in her buggy (stroller) and we walked out the house.

We walked to the hospital instead of driving because it was a gorgeous day and I wasn't prepared to sit in a boiling hot car. Luke pushed Lyric as she slept and I waddled beside him.

"it feels like i'm pregnant with a horse" I laughed and he laughed and pulled me close.

"you still look beautiful" he said kissing my cheek. I blushed and walked into the hospital only to find Emily sitting by herself listening to music but covered in blood. So I waddled over to her and poked her arm.

"AGHH WTF?!" She screamed doing ninja moves but then realized it was me. "KATHERINE!" She shouted hugging me but then she felt my bump.

"EMILY" I shouted back but she backed up and looked at my large stomach, she tilted her head to the side.

"dafuq?" she asked.

"what ever seen a pregnant lady before?" I asked placing my hands on my hips.

"yeah but not you" She said and then she saw Luke and Lyric. "ok sit down I have some questions for you" she said with a sassy tone.

"Ok sure" I agreed and sat beside her.
