Almost Fifteen Again

Chapter 3: The Other Two

     Okay, I'm back diary. I'll pick up right where I left off. With Alena explaining that she ran away from home to find Elie...

"You ran away!" Elie shouts. 'Oh that's right I forgot to mention that part.' "Umm, yes." I say shyly. Elie reminds me of my parents whenever I act out or do something wrong. "Do you know what this means?" She asks, I shake my head no. "It means that if the cops come here and find you they'll arrest me!" She whisper yells. "Why are you whispering." I whisper back. "What if the cops hear us?" I laughed as she continues to whisper what she says.

     "Elie, you haven't changed a bit, you would have really liked Thalia, one of my past lives. She was a nerd and she never liked to do anything that could get her in trouble." I say. "She sounds nice." She says "Elie I am, or was, her." I say. "Sorry" she mouths. "Anyways I'm not staying long so you should be good. I have to go find Kate and Martha and see if they can help too." She nods.

It is now that I remember Sarah and Ben. They are just sitting there staring at us as if we were born with two heads.

     "Sar, you're not going alone." Elie says. "But what about them?" I say gesturing to Sarah and Ben. "I'm still friends with Mar and Kate and my kids are friends with their kids. I'll call them up and ask them to come over. They just live around the corner." I smile and thank her before she leaves to call them. I'm so lucky to have a friend like her.

The minute she leaves though everything becomes awkward. "Did you really die?" Sarah asks. Ben is about to scold her for being rude but I cut him off. "Yes, but I don't remember the pain that much." I quickly try to change the subject. "So do both of you go to school?" "I go to Peetersville High and she goes to Peetersville Elementary." Ben answers.

     His brown eyes look just like Hershey kisses, just the right amount of sweetness. He has brown hair that looks like it has a mind of its own. It looks like crazy David Tenannt hair, no matter how many times he runs his hand through it. Elie has really cute kids.

"Oh, I'm surprised I've never seen you, I go to the same school." I finally answer. I mean it makes sense that we would go to the same school seeing as the school is about half way between our houses and also the only school in this small town for miles. "Ya, I'm surprised too, seeing as it's a small school and I'm on the football team too."

     I swear if Elie had not just walked in my jaw would have dropped. "It took some convincing, but they're both on their way over and they're bringing their kids too." Elie says. "Thanks Elie." I reply. While we wait we sit on the couch and watch Girl Meets World at Sarah's request. I love this show it's amazing. We get through two episodes before we hear a knock on the door.

     "I'll get it. You guys wait here, Sarah make sure you play nice, and you too Ben." Elie says and they both nod. We listen as she opens the door and greets them. I sit on the couch with Sarah, and I'm nervous because I don't want them not to believe me.

     Martha walks in to the living room with her twin daughters and son. Elie said the twins are Jane and Jenna and the son is Michael. Michael is twelve and Jane and Jenna are eight.

Next Kate walks in with her ten year old daughter and seven year old son, Meghan and Sean. Elie had her kids really young by accident, which is why Ben is half her age. James, Elie's husband, was really sweet and stayed with her through it all.

     They got married at 18 when Ben was two. Ben was born before my death, but still during the same year. Elie, Martha, and Kate's husbands are working right now so it is just us girls and the kids. Well technically I am a kid I guess.

     When they walk in they looked straight at me...and then at Ben. I blush as they say, "ooh Ben, who's your girlfriend?!" This also makes Ben blush and he tries to control the pinkness on his cheeks as he says, "Aunt Kate and Aunt Martha she isn't my girlfriend she's your best friend."

     They look at him weird then at Elie and finally at me. "Before we get deep in discussion about who I am or more like who I was, can we send the kids outside please." They look at Elie "What's going on?" Martha says. "Elie who is she?" Kate adds.

     It hurts a little because they were my friends, but that's just another horrible part of my curse. "Guys just trust her, trust me it will all make sense soon. Michel will you take the little ones and go outside please?" Elie says and Michel nods.

      Martha and Kate just stand there wide eyed and shocked. Once it's just me, Martha, Kate, Elie, And Ben; I begin to explain again. "So I guess I should start with who you know me as and clear up what Ben had said." I take the deepest breath I've ever taken and say, "Hey Milky Way, hey Kit Kat, it's me, Starburst."

     Sorry diary, but I have to leave you on a cliffhanger again. I'm headed out to go watch a movie right now, but I'll continue the story when I get back. Bye for now!
