Tansh manages to keep Si-woo occupied with conversation and leads him away. Meanwhile, Tae turns to Jimin and asks:
"Are you even understanding what I'm saying or not...?"
Jimin replies to Tae's concern, "Yaar, what is the problem? You have to meet everyone eventually, so if it's not today, it'll be tomorrow. Why not today?"
Jimin’s point is valid—why fear today what we must face tomorrow? But Tae shakes his head. "You don't get it. I am not the kind of boy Jungkook’s mom likes. She isn't going to like me at all. And I don't know what’s happened to Jungkook;
he isn't understanding this and is just being stubborn."
"He’s right in his own way. You're the crazy one for reacting like this. As for his mom, just dress up the way she likes. What's the issue?" Jimin suggests reasonably.
Tae finds Jimin’s logic sound and agrees. Seeing this, Jimin cheers, "Great! Today we’ll go shopping and pick out some nice dresses for you. But that's for later—let's head to the drama club now, Jin-nuna must have arrived."
They head back to the drama club. Meanwhile, once Tansh finally leaves Si-woo alone, Si-woo returns to the canteen. Seeing that Jimin is no longer there, he fumes with rage. He goes straight to his private staff room—a perk he specifically demanded—locks the door, and makes a call.
The person on the other end answers, "What happened? Calling me so early? You should be in class."
"I am at the college, Uncle, but something doesn't feel right.
First, I was removed from Jimin’s class, and now I can't even get near him, let alone see him. It feels like someone is hiding him from me even inside this college," Si-woo reports.
The person on the phone is none other than Gautam Randhawa. Hearing this, he replies, "It’s possible Yoongi has caught wind of your plan. He might be keeping an eye on you and shielding Jimin. That wouldn't be a big deal for him."
"If that's the case, what should we do now, Uncle?" Si-woo asks.
"Stay calm for now. We only suspect this; we don't have proof. We shouldn't jump to conclusions. Just stay quiet for a few days and watch what happens," Gautam says before hanging up.
However, there was someone else listening to this entire conversation: Namjoon. On Yoongi's orders, they had tapped Si-woo’s phone, so every word reached Yoongi.
Yoongi listens to the recording of Si-woo and Gautam. Namjoon asks, "Sir, one voice is Si-woo’s, but who is the other person he’s calling 'Uncle'?"
"The other one is Gautam Randhawa," Yoongi says expressionlessly.
Namjoon is stunned. He can't understand why Gautam Randhawa has suddenly come to India to take revenge on the Min's. The Min family has no business ties with him, nor have they ever caused him a loss.
Namjoon has many questions, but he doesn't dare ask Yoongi. He quietly leaves the cabin.
Yoongi decides to call Jimin. Jimin, who just finished a rehearsal, picks up happily. "Hello!"
"Did you have lunch?" Yoongi asks bluntly.
Jimin pouts. "What is wrong with you? When someone calls their husband/wife, they say 'Hello' or 'Hi' sweetly first. You just jump straight to interrogation in that rude tone," Jimin complains non-stop.
"Fine, I heard your complaint. But I just asked a normal question. Answer it," Yoongi says.
"I haven't had lunch yet. Rehearsal just ended. I'm going now," Jimin replies. Yoongi’s eyebrows knit together. It's 2:00 PM and Jimin hasn't eaten. Usually, this would make him explode with anger, but realizing he’s been too harsh lately, he calms himself.
