After a while, Jimin came to Yoongi and said, "Do you know how much your actions this morning were going to cost me...? I couldn't even think of an excuse... it was only because Mr. Tansh Kapoor said he met me on the way and gave me a lift."

Seeing Yoongi remain silent, Jimin lifted his head, looked at him, and asked, "Does it not make any difference to you after hearing what I said...?"

Yoongi looked at Jimin, who had anger visible on his small nose.

Seeing this, Yoongi laughed and said, "It made a difference, which is why I did what I did this morning... If you want, I am ready to tell the whole city that you are my wife and they should stay away from you... but then the problem will be yours."

He paused and continued, "The freedom with which you move around and do things now, you won't be able to do that once everyone knows. You'll have to keep bodyguards with you every moment."

Hearing Yoongi's words, Jimin quickly shook his head and said, "No way... no, I don't want that kind of VIP status. I can't walk around with bodyguards all the time. It's better if it doesn't make a difference to you."

Yoongi laughed at his words, pulled him closer, and said, "Then don't bring anger to that little nose of yours."

Jimin pouted and said, "The anger isn't on my nose, it's always on yours! Do you know how scared I was today, thinking that if you arrived home before me, you’d scold me so much...?"

"Oh, so you're scared of me...?" Yoongi asked, acting innocent.

To this, Jimin glared at him and said, "Who wouldn't be scared of a devil like you? And I am just an innocent boy, so obviously, I’ll be scared."

"Innocent boy...!" Yoongi said, raising an eyebrow. Before Jimin could say anything else, Yoongi kept his lips on Jimin's and started kissing him. The air in the room was thick with the kind of magnetic tension that made every second feel stretched thin. When Yoongi’s lips finally met Jimin’s, it wasn't a tentative start;

it was a deep, grounding connection that effectively silenced the world.

Jimin’s breath hitched, the half-formed sentence dying in his throat as Yoongi tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Yoongi’s hand slid up to cradle Jimin’s jaw, his thumb tracing the line of his cheekbone with a surprising softness. Jimin’s hands, which had been resting uncertainly on Yoongi’s chest, slowly curled into the fabric of his shirt, pulling him closer as he began to melt into the rhythm.

When Yoongi finally pulled back, his trail of kisses didn't stop. He moved to the sensitive curve of Jimin’s neck, his breath warm against the skin.

Jimin let out a shaky exhale, his head falling back for a fleeting moment before reality flickered back in. He placed a gentle hand on Yoongi’s shoulder, his voice a soft, breathless whisper.

"Yoongi, it’s dinner time... let's go downstairs"

Yoongi paused, his forehead resting against Jimin's shoulder for a beat as he collected himself. He pulled back just enough to look into Jimin’s eyes—his own dark and heavy affection. A small, lopsided smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, acknowledging the duty they had to the rest of the house.

Instead of a quick goodbye, Yoongi leaned in for one more elaborate, "short" kiss...

It started slow, his lips pressing firmly against Jimin’s in a way that felt like a promise rather than a departure.

He let the kiss linger just long enough for Jimin to sigh into it, a soft, honeyed contact that tasted of lingering heat and reluctant parting.

As he pulled away, he used his thumb to graze Jimin's lower lip, a final tactile spark before stepping back.
