There's no more Paul ... just a gigantic silver wolf.
What the hell?
"Leianna, run," Jared warned.
I didn't move. I couldn't move.
I know, I know, that was dumb.
Paul ran up to me. I used this to my advantage.
"Stop, now!" I commanded.
He stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes were hard and cold until I looked into them. They softened as soon as they met mine.
This is a whole new me. I usually would've passed out by now.
They all ran deeper in the woods except Seth.
"Please stay here Leianna," He instructed softly. I nodded slowly.
If it were any one of them except Seth-- I would've rolled my eyes, and walked deeper into the woods just to piss them off. But he's a sweetheart.
He ran into the woods leaving behind a thick residue of emotional discomfort and curiosity.
They all came back ten minutes later. I looked Paul, and reality caught up with me. That's when it hit me--all at once.
That just really happened! I already know what's gonna happen next. Uh oh.
The next thing I knew, things slowly went into a black abyss.
...
I was out like a light.
