*Rose's P.O.V*
I left his office and kept the door open. I was so pissed at his previous actions towards me. Such a bipolar, arrogant asshole."Ms. White," he spoke loudly," the door."
I looked back over my shoulder," what about it?"
"Close it," he moved his eyes to the computer.
"I'm not your maid," I said which caused him to look up,"so you close it," and I walked off. My heart was racing out of anger and excitement. Part of me hoped he would run and hold me back, close the door, and kiss me hard. But the other part kept screaming out that it was a bad idea and I should go whenever I have the chance.
As I walked past the secretary's desk, I noticed her glare and twitch under her eye. She stood up and pulled down her shirt even further and I could almost swear her nipple was about to pop out. She took the files and shot me a venomous smile and headed to Finn's office. If that didn't show that she slept with him then she is such an easy hoe. I kept pressing on the button hard until I heard it ding. Not even seconds, I see Finn heading to the elevator. I freaked out and kept pressing for the doors to close. He put his hand and the doors backed away. He didn't even bother hiding his smirk. His eyes stayed dark.
"In a hurry, are we?" he now stood next to me, looking down at me from his side. He pressed the P button and stood straight, placing his hands behind is back. I was on edge and kept to myself as possible. I even stood in the freaking corner just to give space but for a reason he seems to be much closer than he was. He looked at his watch then spoke up.
"Have lunch with me," he said looking straight ahead. I didn't think he was talking to me but to an ear piece. He had it on in his office.
"Excuse me?" my voice came out as a whisper.
"It is lunch time in about 5 minutes," he looked at me now," so have lunch with me."
"I have work," it came out," sorry."
He titled his head," I wasn't asking."
"I noticed," I looked up at him, brushing away my side bang," but I have no time to eat, I missed out on some ledgers that needed to be finished before Christmas Eve."
"Today is Christmas," he said," you're not supposed to be here either way."
"Our department stays till 12 and then we can leave. I also noticed that if you wanted us to have a day off on Christmas you should send everyone to their homes."
"We are really busy now," he rubbed his neck," we've got a lot of investors on the line and I want everything to be near perfect."
"One day won't hurt anybody," I shook my head," I know you're a workaholic but not everyone's like you," the doors opened to my floor," you should try to listen to other people's opinions and thoughts other than yours."
He grabbed my arm and the doors closed.
"Hey I-"
"I want to listen to only your thoughts and opinions," he interrupted.
I felt heat on my cheeks and looked down at his hand wrapped around my arm," my opinion is not important, I am just an accountant who works from 6:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M." I looked up at his concerned eyes," I am a nobody."
"I knew I saw you somewhere before the party," he smiled shaking his head. He didn't give me a chance to ask what he meant, he strolled down the parking lot to his car. I followed him by a good amount of distance until he stopped in front of a white, black-tinted windows Range Rover. He opened the door for me and nudged his head to the left. I stood still.
