Isn't it funny how a life can end so quickly? To be honest, no it isn't. But it's easier to make jokes about it than to think seriously. This just makes me more sad.

flashback

„You ready?" Harry looks at me while I'm finishing my make-up.

I nod and turn my head in his direction. His look is filled with happiness.

Then I take one last look in the mirror. My blue dress fits well to my opened, long hair.

His arms get around my waist, we look at each other through the mirror. „Did I already tell you how beautiful you are?"

I smile again and turn around to look at him directly. Only a few centimeters are left between our faces. Fondly he put his lips on mine and I reply kindly. Then he gently pulls at my hair with his hands, not too much, but just enough.

It feels like we kiss for ages and it gets more and more passionate with every move. But then he pulls his head back and looks at me with an expression that is filled with nothing but love. „I think we should go now" he whispers at my neck. I shudder and get goose bumps all over my body.

Both of us check a last time on our look, then he takes my hand and we go down stairs.

„Do you think it will be fun tonight?" Nervously I start biting my lip.

„Of course it will!" Harry makes big eyes.

„I mean, it could happen that all the other girls are a little jealous of you." He says gaily.

But when he sees the unsure look in my eyes, he tries to explain. „No, no. Just because you'll be the most beautiful girl at the party."

Again I feel the butterflies in my stomach and how the redness turns into my face. And of course Harry has to add „You know I'm right. You know it." Disgusted I shake my head but have to laugh at the same time.

„You know what, Harry?"

„What?"

„You deserve nothing but to be happy."

He deserved nothing but to be happy. He still does. He will always do.
