~ Chapter 12 ~
Part 1
When blake noticed the angry tears in my eyes, his jaw hardened.
"What did he do to you?" He asked icily. I shook my head, and responded "Nothing."
"Yeah? Well him cheating on you didn't look like nothing to me.." he said.
"If you already knew what happened, the why the f*ck did you even ask?" I hissed.
Blake's eyes widened, then they narrowed into slits. "Because I wanted to hear you say it.. I wanted to hear you admit that Jesse is a jerk and he doesn't deserve you!"
"Oh, and you do?" I scoffed. Blake stared at the road ahead for a moment, his ocean eyes filled with a pool of wonder and thought. "Well.. I would never cheat on you that's for sure."
As the meaning of his words sank in, something inside me just snapped. "F*ck you Blake!" I shouted, his head jerked to mine in surprise as I continued. "You're NO better than Jesse! You dumped me after one misunderstanding, had your arms and lips all over some blonde bimbo the very next day and then RUINED my reputation! You said you used me! You called me a slut .. you -- you . You never loved me . You're the reason this even happened with me and Jesse .. I -- I hate you, I hate you so f*cking much!" I shouted angrily, but soon enough my yelling turned into sobs that I could no longer hold back.
"Ariana, im so -- I'm sorry ! I just, I didn't know what to do! My worst fears were realized when I found out you didn't love me, I did the only thing I knew how which was to lash out .. baby please, don't cry. I love you, I love you so much, I always have. I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to you, I need you .. I -- I"
Everything was too much right now, Jesse and Blake .. my head was spinning, and I didn't know what to feel .. meanwhile
Blake was looking at me with so much emotion and fear, such a sadness and vulnerability and such an apologetic gaze, that he forgot to focus on the road.
The fear and confusion that was obviously present in both of us, was made even more painfully clear when he swerved into oncoming traffic. That's when everything went black.
