Chapter 5

I woke up seeing nothing but green, but when my blurred eyes adjusted I realized that i was lying face down on the grass and there was an arm draped around me. I looked up to the sleeping eyes of Jesse, why the hell were we all snuggled up in the backyard?

I racked my brain for answers and the events of last night came washing back. We had briefly opened up to each other, then fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Kids?" I heard Marie call, and I jumped up throwing Jesse's arm off me, his eyes slowly opened before closing again, "Come back," he mumbled groggily. "Wake up!" I yelled as his eyes snapped open.

"Shit," he muttered before standing up and running a hand through his messy hair, it had dirt and leaves in it. That's when I noticed that my own hair had suffered the same out come.

Marie suddenly appeared in the doorway of the backyard. "What are you two doing?" She asked incredulously. "Oh my god Did you guys sleep out here?" She added with a bewildered expression, that soon broke out into a smirk as she saw our sheepish faces.

"You guys need a shower, then come back downstairs for breakfast and fill me in on the details of your night, I am more than interested to know." She said with a light chuckle. Jesse gave her a sheepish grin, then we both went upstairs to take our showers. In this house they were all lucky enough to have a main bathroom and one in each of their rooms, even in the guest room where I was staying.

I walked into my current room and grabbed a change of cloths before heading into the private bathroom, I then started the water until it was the temperature to my liking. I stripped out of my clothes and was about to step into the shower when I heard the door knob turning, I quickly covered myself with a towel as Jesse stepped inside with a grin. "What the hell! Get out!" I shouted, turning red as his eyes raked over my body.

"Now why would I want to do that?" He asked coming closer. He was so close I could feel his body heat radiating off him and his cool breath fanning my face. "Wh - what do you want?" I asked trying not to sound too nervous, I don't think he bought it.

"Just wanted to see if you'd be down to share a shower.. I mean, it'll save water," He said innocently. My eyes widened and I scoffed, "In your dreams," I replied. He smirked, "Oh, it will be." He said suggestively before exiting the bathroom. I rolled my eyes and glanced at my reddened face in the mirror, I locked the door this time and got into the shower.

I was about to start lathering up some soap when I realized ...

F*ck ! There was no soap, I poked my head out of the shower and searched around the cabinets under the sink that was in reach. I groaned in frustration, they must not have supplied the guest rooms with soap , & the only thing I had brought was my own shampoo/conditioner.

I mentally sighed as I dragged my wet body out of the shower and wrapped myself in the towel, i would have to ask jesse, who's room was oh so conveniently right across the hall from mine.

I slowly walked to his door and went inside without knocking because I knew he would be in the shower anyways. His room was a bit messy but not pig-like, there were band posters all over the walls and of him and his friends, there was one specific picture that caught my eye though, it was a picture of him and some redhead , he had his arm around her in the picture.
