Last night
Satang exhaled as he shut off his phone screen and laid on his back looking up straight to the blank dark ceiling. His phone fell softly on his clothed chest, giving more press to the already tightened thorax.
"This is it, huh?" His voice filled the deafening silence. The IG story he saw just now, the song tagged in it. The hidden meaning that he's getting...
"Weird..." Satang chuckled lifelessly as his tears suddenly welled up. He wasn't supposed to cry but he did. He thought because it's already agreed upon and not a sudden shock – at least not to him and him, he won't feel sad. He thought the tears already emptied for the past few weeks but here he is, crying once again.
Because it's now feeling more real than yesterday. And tomorrow morning, it's fixed and no turning back. The hurt that he had been holding now piercing through his whole existence, he cried through the night. Over the choice that they chose and agreed together.
That one decision they had come through a week ago.

A week ago
"You guys know why we're here today, right?" Satang glanced at their boss and then the guy beside him. Their manager who sat at the side also had his attention on them.
"Yes." It wasn't from Satang but the guy beside him.
"Before you let me know what's the final verdict, you guys can tell anything you want to say now. Let's talk about everything that maybe you still haven't said to us or each other." Their boss said.
Satang took a breath. "P', maybe we don't really need to say anything more. Winny and I- um, I mean at least I already said everything when we discussed together previously." Satang said quickly.
Their boss looked at Satang for a moment, then Winny before glancing at the manager at the side. The manager nodded.
"Winny?"
"Kub?"
"Anything else?"
Satang could feel Winny glanced at him and so he did take a look. Their eyes met for a moment. Satang gave a little smile and Winny nodded a bit as he turned to their boss.
"No."
Their boss sighed. "Okay. Cool. So, you both will stick to the decision yeah? To officially conclude couple work."
