[Bas] Meant well

Introduction: Bas Suradet played as Wayo Panitchayasawad in 2moons the series (paired with Godt Ittiphat who played as Phana Kongthanin) and Wayu in Gen Y the series (paired with Dun Romchumpa who played as Thanu). A member of boyband SBFive together with Tae Darvid, Kimmon Varodom, Tee Thanapon and Copter Panuwat (2moon casts 1st season).

I rubbed my temple as I looked at the I-pad screen in front of me. My manager who sat across the table waited for my next move silently. I collected the I-pad, zooming past the picture displayed over the screen to make sure I didn't read it wrong.

"Nong. You read it right. No need to zoom it more. Accept the fact that there's an event organizer requesting you to make an appearance alongside him." My manager said, exhaling tiredly. Perhaps he had reach the limit by my silent that somehow went over about an hour since he put the I-pad and broke the news to me.

"I just can't believe- No, not that I dislike it or something, don't take it that way. It's just weird. Don't they know that now you and the company are hyping up for Gen Y, and that it's finalized now I have a new pair? What's happening? P'Oh? I don't understand. Plus, he's on public relationship now."

"I don't know too, Bas. I did get shock myself, asking them over and over again that did they make a mistake on the offer. Well, I ask politely of course or else they're suspecting me accusing them being incompetent and wrote a wrong name." P'Oh stared at me for a while. "I tried subtly to ask their intention or find any hidden agenda. But no, it only comes to me that they're just simply one of the fans. Something along, missing you two. Yeah."

I stared at P'Oh then the I-pad again. "Has the other side respond yet?"

"I don't know but I think not yet. The last date to give answer is today actually thou."

"P'Oh, do you think I should say yes and go?" I asked scratching my head. P'Oh shrugged.

"I don't know, nong. As your manager and boss, I weighed on the huge pay they offer. But it's all on your hand. I don't want to make a choice for you regarding this one." I sighed.

"You're not helping at all P'. Plus, you need my answer today, why you didn't ask me a bit earlier so I can think first?" I whined. P'Oh just smiled.

"It slipped my mind to be honest."

"P'Oh. For real?" He just shrugged.

"Think first. I will delay the reply to them as long as I can. But... please don't take too long to answer."

I sighed. I hate the situation I'm in right now. I then again looked at the picture – that is actually a document explaining the event in two-week time that had been offered to me. A clothing brand event that I was obligated to walk through the runway as one of the models. But I and my pair will be the only celebrity among the models and we will also have to sell the cloths after being the model. Half of the profits on the said day will be donated to a charity. It's overall a good event I definitely wanted to be a part of but the thing is my pair of the day.

"I wonder... if he's going to say yes." I mumbled and P'Oh heard it.

"If you ask me, I do think he will." I looked up at my manager in surprise. "Why you're so surprised? You basically knew he would never say no unless you tell him so. He cherished his root and the fans he got, with you. Even he didn't show much but that's his nature. The cold arrogant one, but you surely know he treasured his fans in his own way and respected your fans too."

I sighed. He's right. Those words reminded me of the sudden call more than three months ago.
