"we'll be fine" she said laughing, as she spun around to face him.
"you wanna know why?" she asked with a grin.
"why?"
she tucked strands of hair behind her ear and smiled before saying,
"because one day it'll all be okay"
she refocused her gaze on the trees above her.
"or maybe it won't-" she added, and looked back at him. his eyes were burning holes through her.
"and i think one day, we'll all learn to accept that."
