Chapter 1: How it all started

Me and my group walked around town after school. Scarlet was eating what seemed to chips, Lewis was walking and talking about geography and Sarah skipped happily along. Another group came at us. The group included the arrogant flirt Adam, with his girl friend Macey at his side. Campbell at his heels some smart remark probably at the tip of his tongue and Daragah laughing with Ben
"Great." I sighed to Scarlet
"So what are you loners doing hanging around town.!" Campbell yelled at us causing his group to giggle. I rolled my eyes at him
"Movie along, we dont need any arrogant boys tto annoy us right now." I walked past them hitting shoulders with Adam as I walked past. We went back to my house, we all jumped on the couch Scarlet still with her chips. I got up and wrapped my knuckles ready to punch the punching bag. The news came on, Lewis went to flick it over to a different Chanel.
"Lewis wait! Guy's watch!" I stopped wrapping my knuckles and turned up the TV
"Reports of a out break is rapidly spreading through the all of the world (Crashing and banging in the background ) Please can every one stay indoors!" The camera is dropped as the reporter gets attacked.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Everyone but me yells at the same time
"Crap! Ummm...... What do we do!!! OK everyone get weapons, food, water clothes WHATEVER IS USEFUL!!! GO NOW!" I yell at everyone. They all go and get the things Iv asked for. I go to the front and back up the car into the driveway and open the back. Scarlet comes sprinting out with bags and bags of food. She dumps it in the back and the others come out saying that's everything. I look at the weapons I grab two kitchen knifes and strap them to my side with a belt. I run back inside grab my photo album and grabbed my shot gun pistol and switch blade. I grab as much ammo as I can and head out. Everyone has already piled into the car I throw the shot Gun Scarlet she takes it with a nod. I hand Lewis a pistol and a knife, has not big on violence so he takes it with a shakey hand. I keep my switch blade and my duel pistols. Sarah holds up her weapon to me it's hatchet (a small axe ) I drive the car down the road. No one is to be seen. Then we smell this smell, it was horrible. We all hold our noses. I drive faster, then I see a group. I slammed the brakes on. The figures all turn to us, their eyes glazed over they were covered in blood and gore half of the meat on there body gone. I see who's in the group, it's the group with Campbell in it. I curse under my breath and reverse everyone was shaking. The things known as 'zombiees' started dragging their bodies towards us and moaning with nowhere else to go I start to go forward.
"what are you-" Lewis begins but doesnt finish as I ram the car into our once hated enemy's. Sarah screams and Lewis starts to cry. Lewis didn't hate them they were his friends.
"Hey!!! Over here!" we hear a yell from out side. We see Adam emerge with blood all over him and a sharp stick in his hand. I got out of the car and he embraced me in hug. I break down and start crying half of my group is shaking and crying.
