Will you save me?

Ch.5

Andys POV

*beep* *beep* *beep* Uhg that machine is driving me crazy. I look at my beautiful Ember. Her breathing is slow and shallow. It pains me to see her on this condition. I sigh. This is all my fault. I should have never let her go back home. I knew the dangers but still I let her go... The doctors said she'll wake up soon. I just want to hold her in my arms and let her know everything's gonna be okay.

Embers POV

My eyes flutter open. Everything around me is pristine white. I see Andy in the corner of the room with his head in his hands. "A-Andy" he looks up, a huge smile appears on his face. "hey baby" he says. I felt butterflies in my stomach when he called me that. Well and slight hunger. He walks over and pecks my lips. I try to sit up but immedialty wince in pain. "oh yea, You um bruised your ribs pretty bad." he states while running his hand through his hair. "Andy" I start. "mhmm?" "T-thanks for saving me. I'm pretty sure I-i'd be d-dead if it weren't for you" I stutter. He smiles then quickly turns to a frown. "You being in here is my fault Ember. I should have never let you go home." My mouth is wide open. He did not just say that. None of this is his fault. "Andy none if this is your fault." I say with pain in my voice. "you saved my life Andy. Your my hero." "I'm nobody's hero." he bluntly states. "I don't deserve to be around you if I'm gonna end up letting you get hurt." Andy said with tears forming in his eyes.

Andys POV

"I don't deserve to be around you if I'm gonna end up letting you get hurt." I state. I could feel the tears  forming in my eyes. And with that I walked out of the hospital room. I could hear Ember calling for me to come back but I couldn't find it in me tp turn around. I'm almost out the door of the hospital when I feel a hand weakly try to pull me back. To my surprise it's Ember. "B-But how" I stammer. "I couldn't let you go Andy. I ripped out my IV's and fought nurses to get to you. I need you Andy. Please don't ever leave me again" she said crying. I bring her face up so our eyes connect. "Ember I'll never leave you again." I say. The nurses finally catch up with her and sedate her. She willingly take it. Then passes out in my arms. "I'll take her" I comment. As I'm walking back to te hospital room I can't help but stare at her. Ember. My beautiful Ember. I know she's not officially mine but she will be one day. I plant a small kiss on her forehead and continue walking.
