The Golden Four

Haley Winsor

Haley Winsor is the edgy one. She takes crap from no one and is the strongest one in the group. She never cries and always sticks up for her friends. She has long, curly, black hair with brown streaks. She is the 5,6' putting her as the tallest in the group. It always drives Alia crazy when someone points out that Haley is taller. Haley has ADHD and dyslexia, just like Julia and Alia and also Carmen. Even though Haley is smart, she always shows up late when Julia isn't badgering her, and has detention almost every week. She has no time for boys, and whenever Carmen tries to set her up, she shoots them down so fast they can barely say,
   "Hello"
      Haley wears whatever is comfortable. Usually it's tank tops and athletic pants. She has brown eyes and almost never brushes her hair. She brushes it when Carmen forces her to, or when her mother forces her to.
     Haley has a fascination in technology and if you call her a tech geek, you might as well be in a pit of fire ants. She never studies and gets D's and F's. Not that she cares. She grew up without a dad and her mother hates her, so what's the point?
     All her friends are missing parents. Julia doesn't have a mom and has six older brothers and her dad is always traveling, Carmen also doesn't have a mom, and her dad is always training for some tournament. Carmen has a younger sister that she loves more than anything in the entire world. Alia is missing her dad like Haley and Alia is an only child like Haley. Alia and Haley used to hate each other, but know, thanks to Carmen and Julia, they are best friends. Haley wished she had a sibling, but her friends are like her sisters, so she can't complain.
     Soon, Haley would have to step up and protect her friends from something they had never faced before.
