Kellin's POV
"At what time they were supposed to be here?" Vic asked. We were currently waiting for the guys and my mom to arrive in the SD airport.
I called them and told them they would be coming to San Diego for two weeks because it had been awhile since I last saw them and I missed them.
They obviously didn't believe me so I had to tell them it was also because Vic and I have something to tell them and we wanted to do it in person so yeah.
My mom is beyond excited to come here for a couple of days. She loves Vic's parents and absolutely loves hanging out with Viv. That, and also she'll be able to see Alysha again. I told you, my mom loves Alysha more than she loves me.
The guys are just thrilled they're coming and are already planning a party to get shit faced with everyone here. You know, same party animals as always.
I checked the time on my phone. They were supposed to be here at 4 o'clock and it's 4:30 right now. I'm staring to get worried, what if something happened?
"4 o'clock. It's 4:30 right now Vic. What if something happened to them?"
"Babe, don't think like that okay?" Vic said and took my hand with his. "I'm sure they're just fine. Maybe their flight is delayed, you know how airlines can get. Don't stress out. We'll be here all day if we need to." He was playing with my fingers all the while he was talking. He was trying to distract me from overthinking and it was comforting at the same time. I sighed and nodded.
"You're right. I don't know why I always go straight to negative thoughts. Probably their flight is delayed."
"It's okay darling. They'll be here in no time and the only thing we'll need to worry about is how we're going to tell them the news." He said.
"I hate looking down at my hand and not seeing my ring on it." I said. Vic and I agreed I wouldn't wear my engagement ring until we tell the guys and my mom we're engaged. I don't like not being able to wear my ring. I love it and now my ring finger feels naked without it.
Vic took my hand and brought it close to his lips, giving me a sweet kiss on my ring finger. I smiled at his gesture. I swear he kills me with his cuteness.
"I know you do. I do too, you know. But it won't stay like that for much longer. We're going to tell the guys and Mary tomorrow so I can put the ring back on that beautiful finger of yours."
"Speaking of which, how are we doing it? Are we doing the same we did when we told your parents and the guys?"
"Uh, yeah. I think that'd be good. We don't have to rehearse anything and it went pretty good the first time." I nodded in agreement. It did went well after all, and it was also easy to do so.
"Sorry, we're late."
Vic and I weren't exactly paying attention to anyone else while we were talking, so when a voice I know pretty well was heard I snapped my head up to find my mom and the guys all standing in front of us.
I smiled and stood up from the bench Vic and I were sitting and pulled my mom in for a hug.
"Oh my god mom! I missed you so much." I kind of whispered the last part just so only she could hear me.
"Oh sweetie, I missed you." She said rubbing one of her hands up and down my back. I missed her motherly kind of hugs. I just missed my mom. I pulled apart and kissed her cheek.
"Hello Kellin! Yeah we're good and we missed you too. Thanks for asking." Justin said.
"Go with your friends honey. I'm going to say hi to Vic." My mom said pushing me to were the guys were standing.
