Vic's POV
Kellin and I's sixth month anniversary is in two weeks and I want to take him out on a romantic date to celebrate. But the thing is; I don't have an idea of what I want to do.
Kellin's taking a shower right now while I'm waiting for him in the music room.
I could maybe write him a song, or play his favorite song. Kellin likes romantic scenarios and acoustic songs. Maybe I could play his favorite song and have dinner with candles and pedal roses.
Something cheesy and romantic. Yeah, I like that a lot and I'm pretty sure he'll love it.
I was sitting on the couch thinking when I felt a pair of arms slide from my neck. "I'm ready." Kellin said and pecked my cheek. I smiled at the gesture and grabbed one of his hands making him walk around the couch and sit on my lap.
"Or we could excuse ourselves, stay here and have some fun instead." I winked at him making him blush slightly at my words.
"Nope. We told your parents that we would be there, now c'mon let's go." He said and stood up. I groaned.
My mom called last night and invited us over today. She also told me she already invited the guys and they all said they'd be there.
"Fine." I said and stood up. "It'll be fine babe, besides the guys will be there." He said. "Do you really want to go?" I asked. I don't want him going just because he feels obligated to go.
"Yeah. You know I like your parents a lot and I enjoy spending time with the guys. They'll be there. It'll be fun." He smiled at me. I nodded and we both walked hand in hand out of the room.
We walked to the front door and I took my keys before opened the door for Kellin to go out. I did the same with the car door. I know he loves it when I do that.
We had the radio on and as I was driving to my parents house, which is not so far away from our house, the song Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls started playing.
"Oh god I love this song so much." Kellin said next to me humming along with the song and then he started to sing along with it.
Kellin's voice is amazing. I don't know anyone who can sing as beautiful as he does.
"You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
And sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight"I kept glancing at him while he sang. He was lost in his own world.
"And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want to you know who I am.""What?" Kellin asked when he turned to me and saw me looking at him. "I really like you singing this song. It sounds better with your voice." I said and turned to look at the road again. I don't want to get us killed.
"Yeah sure." Kellin said sarcastically. "I'm serious babe. Now every time I'd listen to this song I'll be hearing it with your voice instead." I look over at him and saw he blushed at my comment.
"You really like it?" He asked. "Yes." "Maybe I'll just sing it for you then." He reached for my hand that I wasn't using to drive and intertwined with his. I looked at him and smiled. "I'd love that. It'd be like our song." I said making him smile as well.
I turn to the left and saw my parents house at the distance. They decided they wanted to make a get together sort of thing to celebrate that me and Kellin are finally together living in San Diego.
