I opened my eyes slowly only to be greeted by the blinding morning light. I groaned. I hated mornings. Then I remembered it was a Sarurday morning. I smiled as I tried to come up with a plan on how to spend the day.

"You are a heavy sleeper." A voice snaped me out of my thoughts. I sat up and turned around faster then a bullet. I relaxed.

"Oh...morning dad." I said, still tired. Dad was leaning against the island in the kitchen. He smiled at me.

"Morning." He said with a chuckle.

"When did you get here?"

"Last night."

"You could have called."

"I did." I slowly ducked behind the couch.

"Oops?" I shruged. Dad laughed.

"Were you asleep when I called?"

"How did you know?"

"Just a guess." I chuckled as I got up off the couch and went into the kicten.

"I would ask if you're hungry, but I think I know the answer to the question." I told Dad as I opened the fridge up.

"Did Optimus do anything to you?" My smiled faded as the events from yesterday evening flooded my mind.

"No." I answered. I was still shaken.

"Max." Dad said, his voice in a gental warning tone. I grabed two eggs from an egg carten.

"I'm fine physicaly..." I admitied.

"Emotionally?"

"Still shaken. It's been a little over a decade since my last encounter with any Autobots. I guess it was scarrier then I remember."

"You were only a sparkling back then." I chuckled at Dad's comment.

"Yeah...guess I was." I placed the two eggs on the island and grabbed a frying pan.

"And quite the handful." I laughed.

"Was I really?" I turned the stove on. Dad chuckled as he nodded.

"Yes, you were. I always made sure someone was with you no matter what. On the ship, or in public." I laughed as I cracked the eggs over a bowl.

"Was I that out of control?" I asked.

"Not all the time. It was out of my fear." Dad had a soft smile on his face. I looked at him with a smile before I mixed the eggs up.

"So...what's new on the ship?" I asked, remembering some of the questions I had. Dad began explaing what I missed in the past dacade.

Turns out it was these past few weeks that have been really note worthy: Dad came back from a three year trip in space and brought some stuff, called Dark Energon, back with him. He was gonna use it to turn Cybertron's dead into zombies and use them to take over Earth. The Autobots, being the pests they are, decided to go and ruin everything. They blew up this thing the 'Cons had bulit called a space bridge, blowing up the zombie warriors and Dad. And up until recent, dad was in a coma type of thing...stasis....I think. Anyways, the Autobots lost one, the Decepticons gained two. In the end, the Cons are still winning. Dad explained all of this while I finished making and ate my breakfest. When he was done, I was kind of shocked, but not shocked enough to cause something to shatter.

"Yikes dad! I don't think I know anyone who has been blown up and lived to tell the tale." I said before taking the last bite of egg.

He laughed. "I cannot be easily destroyed." I chuckled as I set my plate in the sink.

"Don't you have school today?" Dad's question kind of caught me off guard, but I also knew why he asked.

"Nope. Not today, or tomorrow. Day after tomorrow I do." I smiled.

"Then...how would you like to spend the day...with me?" The plate in the sink shattered. I could not belive it. My dad, who had made himself known a few days before, wants to spend the day with me.

"Can we go to New York?" I asked with a smile. Dad nodded and I tackled hugged him, which he returned.

"Just let me get better cloths on." Dad nodded and pulled away so I could run upstairs to change cloths. When I came back down, Dad was by the front door. He smiled when he saw me.

"Soundwave, open the ground bridge." He said into his ear peice when I joined him. A green portal apeared in front of us as Dad checked for mine. Dads will be dads. When he saw I had mine, we linked arms and went to New York.
