My feet were killing me. I made it to Jasper and was slowly on my way home. I was still pretty upset however. The Autobots had my necklace. The one Dad gave me when he left me with Abby and Kevin. I turned onto my drive way and started walking on it. It was dark, slowly turning into day. Early morning. Sunday. Either way, my feet and legs were sore from all the running and walking. They felt like jello. I walked up to my door, opened it, closed it and slowly climbed my wooden stairs. As good as food sounded, my bed sounded 20 times better. I walked into my room and slipped my shoes and socks off. The carpets felt really good under my feet. I noticed my socks had red on them. Red that isn't normally there. Blood. I sighed and crawled to my bed. I got into it, laid on my side and feel into a dreamless slumber.

~Morning~

I woke up to the feeling of someone on the edge of my bed, a blanket over my body and a warm, strong, gentle hand on my shoulder. I opened my eyes and slowly lifted my head. Even though the light blinded me, I was still able to make out who was on the edge of my bed. I smiled softly.

"Hey Dad." I whispered, still worn out from the grand escape I made. His head turned towards me. His red eyes filled with relief as he softly smiled back. He got up, walked over, bent down and kissed my head.

"Are you alright?" Dad's voice was filled with concern. I nodded and laid my head back down on my pillow.

"Just tired. And sore." I whispered. My eyes were closed. I felt strong, protective arms slip under and lift me up off my bed. I opened my eyes half way to see Dad was carrying me, bridal style, towards the stairs. His grips tightened as he started walking down the stairs. Memories from my early childhood years flooded back to me. Memories from Dad rocking me to sleep to him giving me comfort after an encounter with Autobots. Reality was reintroduced to me thanks to Dad's voice. We were on the couch. I was still in his arms.

"What did you say?" My voice voice was still a whisper.

"Perhaps you should reconsider returning to the warship." There was a whole lot of truth in his words. I smiled.

"You would have to tell Kevin and Abby." I pointed out. At that exact moment, the front door opened and closed. Footsteps rushed into the living room. I looked at Dad, then at Kevin and Abby. They both looked relived to see me, but still worried.

"Hey Kevin. Abby." I whispered.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Abby asked as she hugged me.

"Just tired." I left the part that I was sore out. I didn't want her getting any ideas...if you know what I mean.

"Thank you for calling us Megatron." Kevin shook hands with Dad. He nodded in response.

"I believe we have something to discus." Dad said as Abby and Kevin sat down.
