I walked into the living room and sat down next to Dad. I had to take my contact lenses out because one of them had shifted and was bugging me. He smiled sadly when he saw my red eyes.

"So.....what happened to Mom?" I asked him. His smile disappeared as he started to speak.

"Your mother's name was Moon. She had black hair with purple streaks in it. All natural. She had purple eyes, was rather pale for a human and black feathered wings. That's what she looked like when I met her. She was what you would call a mutant." Dad explained. Then he pulled out a picture and showed it to me. I instantly recognized dad. He was next to a girl who looked to be about my age. Purple eyes, black hair with purple streaks, black feathered wings, super pale. It was a picture of my mom and dad. I smiled, then looked at dad as he began to explain how he met her and the events that had taken place after.

"I met Moon one day in a forest clearing. I was taking a walk, trying to clear my head when she attacked me. For a human, she had quite the punch. After I had regained my balance, I looked up to see her, wings open as wide as they could go, fangs on both jaws, her eyes glowing red and she was dressed in a light blue gown. She had cuts and bruises all over her body.

'Who are you and what do you want?' She growled at me.

'I am Lord Megatron, leader of The Decepticons.' I answered. She snorted at me.

'I don't care who you are.....or what you are. You are on my land. Get off before I kill you.' She threatened me.

'I will do no such thing.' I told her.

'Very well then.'

"We then engaged in battle. If she was a normal human, I would have easily won the battle without too much effort. But Moon had wings and inhuman powers. She was strong. After sometime, I managed to pin her down. I was going to finish her, but I had an idea. I offered her to join me and become a Decepticon. She agreed. She wanted to make your world pay for her mutation. She followed me back to the ship and within a few days after, she proved to be quite the handful. While she followed all orders I gave her, she would sometimes question my actions, without hesitation. She also proved to be more powerful then what she had made me believe. I grew to respect her and her way of life, as did the other Decepticons. My second in command, however, questioned my decision and would try to convince me to remove her from the ship. Despite some of the...flaws...she had, Moon proved to be a valued member of the Decepticons. Her ability to change her appearance made Moon an expect scout, her size was perfect for helping repair any damages the ship may have had, and she was powerful enough to even cause the Autobots to worry. No matter how much Starscream argued, I allowed her to stay on the ship. She quickly climbed up the Decepticon ranks, and I found myself going to her when I needed advice. I appointed Moon as my advisor, much to Starscream's disapproval. All of this happened within the first year of Moon's Decepticon life.

"Within the next two years, Moon proved herself over and over again. Starscream accepted Moon as a Decepticon and no longer argued against her existence. I found myself growing to enjoy her company, and her personality. She was the only Decepticon who would question any orders I would give or actions I would take. At first, I ignored her, but then, when I failed to heed Moon's questioning, I nearly paid the price.

"It happened on her third year. She and I were investigating an energon spike. We came across a cave. I was about to enter when Moon spoke up and suggested she go in alone. I ignored her and proceeded anyway. Moon followed, but she flew instead of walking. We were a mile into the cave when the ground beneath me became unstable and collapsed, causing a cave in. If Moon hadn't put a force field around me and herself, I would have been crushed. After the cave in was done, Moon lowered the force field and began looking for a way out. I knew right then and there Moon was upset with me. I tried speaking to her, but she ignored me. I do not know how much time had passed before she found a tunnel that wasn't sealed. She told me to step lightly as she led me through the tunnel. I continued to try to get Moon to speak to me before she finally snapped. When she asked me why I was so talkative, I did something I thought I would never do. I apologized for being such a fool. She was just as shocked as I was. She was about to say something when she groaned and fell. I reached out and caught her before she landed. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me she was losing too much energy too fast and she needed to get to sunlight, or she would die. Fear struck me as I continued down the tunnel as fast as I could without causing a second cave in. I came to a dead end and assumed it would be the end of Moon."
