you snapchatted me last night
out of the blue
I got excited
because it was you
we talked for a while
being silly of course
you made me smile
it wasn't even forced
you never replied
to my last message
no reason to cry
you probably fell asleep
I spent all next morning
waiting for a message back
Too much time waiting
it was a whack to the heart.
maybe someone actually liked me
I debated whether or not to message you back.
I finally did.
I played games on my Mac,
waiting for you.
I didn't know you would be such a kid.
You asked me who it was.
I threw my phone across my room.
I wanted you to remember me, just 'cause.
I wanted someone to like me.
