Standard evening at the house. Patty the neighbor here without an invitation.

"Sophia, dear. You should really consider getting that haircut your husband suggested." Patty being her normal overbearing self.

"No patty, I think I want to grow it out." I touche my hair with an accusatory glare, I continue with"why, do you not like? Hmm, you want me to have short blonde hair like my husband wants." I've been getting these suggestions from my husband for the last couple of years. I don't know what type of woman he thinks I am.

Taking a step back with raised hands in a sign of surrender, "Now you know I said no such thing dear. I just merely suggested a trim." Showing how much with her fingers.

Shaking her head like a mad women, she kept taking steps towards patty, "No, your just like him. You want me to have short fucking hair, and to eat absolutely nothing cause god forbid I gain any weight." Poking her finger into her friends face, she kept yelling accusatory in her face. "Not anymore, you hear me."
Getting confrontational with Patty was never the goal for today, but since she has decided to come into my house with her opinions. I walk over to Patty to get right in her face so she can see how much of her crap I will take. With a huff she walks away. Leaving the room, she grabs her bag and slams the door behind her. Rude.

--------------------------------------
Patty couldn't believe her friend would do this, she's always acted kind towards her. Maybe some things are going on in her household she didn't know about.

Patty's been noticing the changes in her friend, the weight loss over the past few months. The increased number of times her anger would get triggered, patty always considered Sophie to be the sane one of her friends. Patty was on the wild side of the spectrum but she still remained by her man's side. Her man, Antonio and her met back in college.

~flashback~
The first day was always the worst, but the butterflies in her stomach were ten times worse today. It was at tolerable level during high school, but the first day of college was scaring her worse.

She had this dear stuck in the headlights look on her face, she felt like a tourist. Like this was temporary, she didn't feel quite at home yet. She knew she had to acclimate soon, when her parents dropped her off they specifically told her she couldn't come back home.

She knew they didn't mean in the throwing you out type of way, but that she had to hack college. Walking to the student union for orientation she had to get through the throng of people on campus. The walk wasn't far but she did have to walk all the way to middle of the campus.
