Chapter Thirteen
Chandler
She knows. Katrina knows. She knows what me and Willow did. Did she know about Queen Victoria's play in it? I grabbed my phone and called Willow.
"What?" She answered.
"Someone knows. Katrina. She found the video somehow. She knows." I exclaimed.
"What?!" She roared.
"I know. I heard her in the Church. She didn't know it was me. What do we do?" I said.
"Good. We can pretend we don't know she knows. Try to get her to talk to us. We'll talk to Victoria once this is under control." Willow said.
"Wow, you really are amazing." I said trying to win her affection. It wouldn't work. It never did.
"You said you heard her. How?" She asked of course ignoring me.
"She was telling someone about what she knew. Her parents." I said.
"And what are you going to do about that?" She asked me.
"I'll kill them. Both of them." I gulped out. Then, silence. She hung up the phone, and I could just imagine the sickly beautiful, sexy, twisted, evil smile on her face.
Chapter Fourteen
Katrina
Even though I was still shaken up, I had to go to block, which was training with Heath. "So what are we doin'?" I asked him.
"Drivers Ed." He answered plainly.
"Oh, okay." I said. We walked outside, and he pulled up a big school car. He gave me simple directions, and asked me to drive it around the parking lot. Since when was Heath so quiet. He used to be funny and fun. He changed when I started dating Eddie... Oh God! "Are you jelous of Eddie?!" I blurted out.
His jaw clenched. "What?!"
I blushed, "nevermind." I parked the car, and we walked back to the gym in silence. "So, what are we doin' now?"
"Nothing. You can leave." He said.
"Okay, see you tomorrow. Good bye." I said.
As I was walking out the door, he faintly called, "I think so."
I knew what he was talking about, but a pretended not to. "What?"
He walked over to me in a few steps. It made my heart flutter. "When I met you, I met you. And you are still you. But you were single. I never thought you'd have a boyfriend, so I thought me and you had the closest realationship you'd have with a boy. I kind of liked—like you, and just wanted you to be mine. I also respected you and just wanted you to be my friend. It changed. I'm sorry, you can go."
"No," I said. "And we do have a special bond. We can be- and are great, amazing friends. Eddie doesn't change anything. We can still be friends. You never liked me, you don't like me. Sometimes when you get a new friendship, and it goes fast, but then slows down you become sort of jealous. That's all that happened, right?"
He sighed, "probably. I'm sorry, this is unfprofessional."
"It'okay," I started to say until my phone started rining; it was Eddie. "Hello."
"Hey, Kat turn on the news. It's about you. Hurry!" He said.
"Okay," I said. "Bye." I turned to Heath, "turn on the news, fast."
"Okay," he said.
"As we all know," the news lady said, "the first vampire queen apppiercances were on. Today five canidiates, Susie, Katrina—who goes my Kat, Savannah. Kayla, and Victoria, all spoke amazing speeches. One persons thoughts really stood out. Her name is Kat. She spoke for everyone, no one, and herself. Tomorrow we will be covering more on this topic with some actual footage. Next up, Arizona's orginal V.P.S. Queen, Victoria..."
