Chapters 16-18

Chapter Sixteen

We finally made make to campus alive and with eased cravings to the blood. It was about eight pm.

"So, when are you seeing your parents?" Brook asked.

"I'm leavin' in a little less than an hour," I told her.

"Dude, it's pitch black outside... isn't that a late visit for them?" Brook asked me.

"I know," I said, "I planned it out with my parents. They all took long naps today, and will probably be able to stay awake until dinner, well our dinner. That's around when they'll get tired."

"That's so nice that your parents would do that for you, they'll probably have to take Monday off!" Brook said.

I smiled," I know. I love them so much."

"So," Brook said, "I'll help you unload."

"Thanks," I said. We unloaded quickly, and it felt good to be back in my home.

"See ya," Brook said, "text you later."

"Bye, Brook." I said. I let Zeebee outside, then got ready. I put on yellow skinny jeans, a purple flowly tank top, a brown shrugg, and brown wedge heels to top my outfit. I straightened my hair and put on natural looking makeup. I grabbed a silver handbag, and let Zeebee back inside. Someone knocked on the door, and I walked over to open it.

"Heyy..." I started, "Eddie! Hi! I missed you!" I said jumping into his arms and kissing him.

"I missed you to, Kat." He said.

"Is Danny in your car?" I asked.

"Yes, you ready to go?" He asked me.

I grabbed my bag, "yupp." The ride over to my parents house was fun. Eddie had a white SUV, with leather seats on the inside that had heaters in them. Danny and him had an awkward conversation about that, while I just sat there and laughed.

"So this is house?" Eddie asked.

"Yes." Me and Danny said at the same time. He parked the car, and I got out, looking at my house remembering all of the amazing memories that happened here.

"Let's go in," Danny said. I led the way, opening the familiar door.

"Mom, Dad, we're here!" I called.

"Kat, Danny! We're in the livin' room!" My mom said. I set my bag down on the table, and walked into the living room. My mom and dad were sitting on the couch, and Anna was laying on the floor.

"Anna! My baby, oh come here." I said picking her up as she smiled and giggled.

"Kat, who's this?" My dad asked.

Holding Anna, walked over to Eddie. "Mom, dad, this is Eddie. He's my boyfriend." I said hoping Eddie wouldn't be embarrassed and become all shy. Luckily, he wasn't.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. James, I'm Eddie." He said.

"Hello, Eddie." My dad said.

"Well Eddie," my mom said, "it's nice to meet you."

"Likewise," Eddie said.

"So Kat, Danny," dad said, "Eddie, tell us about your new lives."

We had an amazing time. I caught up with my parents, and we just talked and were hanging out like old times.

"I'll go put Anna to bed, then we have to leave." I told them.

"Alrighty," mom said, "thank you." I took Anna up to her room, and laid her in her crib.

"Anna, I have to go. I'm so sorry. I promise I'll come see you soon. Okay? I love you Anna, remember that." I said then kissed her forehead. She started crying, and I felt my heart break. "Anna, don't cry. Be happy. Shhh," I said."How about I sing you our song..."
