When I woke up, all I heard was a loud silence. I checked my phone - it showed 6:30. In the morning. Whoa. Going back to sleep again. But I couldn't, my mind attacked me with thoughts about William, Noah, dad, Elle. Noah made feel like I haven't in a while. So did William, but not in a good way. No one hasn't argued with me in a while like William did. Because they know what I'm capable of. But William didn't. Maybe I should apologize? I didn't remember what we even argued about.
I felt completelt awake, so I stood up and went to take a shower. It felt damn good, I spent there about a half of an hour. Then I got dressed and combed my hair. When I looked out of the window, I noticed that William was lying by the pond. I should go talk to him.
I exited the house and walked behind it. The pond wasn't that close than I thought, it seemed closer from the window. I walked over there, he had his eyes closed and didn't notice me coming. "Mind if I sit?" I asked. He opened one eye, then both with a surprise.
"Wow, you.. never mind." He sat up.
"What?" I raised my eyebrow.
He shook his head. "Nothing."
I sat next to him and enjoyed the view in silence.
"I want to apologize," he suddenly said.
"Me too," I said right after him.
"I guess I was kind of a jerk."
"And I was a kind of a crazy overreactive b!tch."
He chuckled. "You're not that bad."
"No, I really overreacted. You were just, kidding, right?"
"Yeah, sorry if that hurt you," he said while rubbing his back of the neck and looking at me. His face really was apologetic.
"No, it didn't hurt me, I just.. wasn't used to it. Like.. everyone's afraid to joke around with me, except my best friends. And insult me, like you did. I guess deep down I know you're right." Wow, was it me saying that?
"Well, you're the only one who I've ever told that to. My father raised me to never insult anyone. And I was being really immature to make that exception on you."
"So were kind of friends now?" I asked.
"Yeah, but you now have to call me Will," he smiled.
"I shook his hand. "Deal, and you'll call me Joey."
