Once Seamus calmed from the near heart attack his friend gave him, he introduced her.
"This is Iris. She's an old friend."
"Old lover too?" Immortal interrupted with is troll voice.
Seamus took a deep breathe. "As far as I'm concerned, its not your business."
"That means yes." Pbat laughed.
After another deep breathe, Seamus led them inside. The cave lit up and bats flew out from the rafters and niches in the walls. It was an old cave that hadn't been used in years. There was cobwebs and dust everywhere they turned. Each door creaked and lights flickered. Still, its all they had.
"We have to save The Creatures using this piece of shit?" Tom whined.
"Let me remind you," Seamus started reprimanding. "You once saved a whole bus worth of hostages when you were stranded out in the middle of the desert. We all have had much shittier!"
Tom started to pout and looked to Immortal for help.
Immortal let a small chuckle escape his lips. "He's right, ya' know."
"Shut up Immortal." Tom said crossing his arms.
"Can I please kick his ass?" Pbat joked.
Seamus laughed and shook his head as he leaned over a dusty table. He blew away the dust and the particals went everywhere. Lucie sneezed one of the cutest sneezes on earth. Everyone laughed, even Seamus, but he calmed them all down.
"Alright, now can we get to work?" He asked.
The laughter died as they all gathered around the table. Iris, however, stayed in the corner and away from everyone. Her cold, icy blue eyes glowed like a cat's in the darkness, but that was all they saw of her. The shade hid her and no one even noticed her absense. Of course Seamus did, but he knew she wasn't really gone. He went on talking as a hologram appeared on the glowing table. They instantly recgonized the model.
"This diagram represents the prison." Seamus pointed to the glowing figure. "Every villian we've ever faced is locked up in there. It wouldn't matter anyways because they're all idiots, but its because they're idiots that I know what we're up against. Only a hero, or rather a ex-hero, would be smart enough to pull this off."
"No one would betray us." Clash added.
"That's where you're wrong." Iris spoke up.
They all looked back at her in her dark corner. Her blue eyes went a little glossy as she continued. A faded Texas accent poked through as she spoke.
"She may not have been blood, but she was my sister. Now she's nothin' but a trader." Iris' voice hissed with disapointment.
Tiffany looked to Seamus. "Who?"
"Sapphire." He replied with a hard swallow.
Seamus pulled up a hologram of her. The image showed her typical attire; black body suit, pistols at hand, and dark blue hair. Then he put a much different picture next to it. This showed a much softer side of the vixen. She was beautiful and not as cold in a picture that showed her and James. Sapphires arms were wrapped around his neck and they both had warm smiles. Her hair wasn't a dark blue either. It was a soft teal, and complimented her features well.
As Seamus explained, he could tell everyone was shocked they were even the same girls. The images were so different from each other. One was cold and soulless, and the other was heart warming and sweet.
"Cierra used to be one of us. Then, she just changed. I know, no matter what, she'd still never do this."
Pbat lowered his head. "What exactly makes you so sure?"
