"What are you smiling at?" Seamus asked as he examined Ze. "First of all, how can you even smile at anything?"
He sighed. "Sorry to break your heart Sea, but when Iris knew she was going to die, she used her last bit of magic to give me my sight. I'm smiling because the cavalry has finally arrived."
It was too good to believe. Seamus had to get up and look out the cell window before he'd be deceived. Even then, he couldn't believe his own eyes. Over the snowy hill was Double, Clash, Immortal, and an cured Sly. They looked like they've had enough and they were ready to end this. No doubt Immortal now knew how he lost his love, and he was planning on getting revenge.
Ze smiled and walked to the bars. He looked around the prison until he spotted an electrical box to which he could call power from.
"Stand back." He warned.
Seamus nodded and backed up as far as he could. The little bolts danced on the iron bars until the door finally blew off. They didn't go for such a rough tactic for the other cells, since they could just unlock them now.
"Okay, two problems. I still have this fucking collar and Nova is still in a coma." Spoon stated.
"Wake him up and he can break the collar." Seamus replied.
He glared at Seamus. "No shit Sherlock. How do we wake him up though?"
There was steps echoing through the prison and they all exchanged looks, assuming it would be Sapphire or Tiffany. The thought made them tense up and shake a little.
"OH! I go through all this trouble for you to break yourselves out!" Immortal gripped as he stood at the end of the passageway.
They all smirked at him and he shook his head. Natalie ran to Sly, and he took her in his arms happier than ever.
"You scared me." She whispered.
"I know," Sly said. "I scared myself, but we're going to end this once and for all. For Iris."
A mournful moment lingered as they all took a second to remember her. It was more of an after thought that she was no long there, but it would not deter them from fighting for her. Clash and Double pushed passed everyone to get to Nova. He was still out cold, no way of waking him.
"For once, I have no clue what to do." Double admitted.
Clash huffed. "I think I do. Who want's to be bait?"
No one volunteered. Instead, they all looked at Ze and he stood there dumbfounded as to why he was getting nominated.
"Why me?!"
"Oh, get over it cry baby." Clash replied. "Get your ass out on that bridge and get Sapphire's attention. Let her beat you, but uh, don't make it look too fake."
Ze shook his head. "I hate you guys."
"We hate you too bubba!" Sly smiled as he gave Ze a light shove.
He rolled his eyes and started walking. The bridge was quiet, not a soul around. Winter air blew in little specks of snow which melted when they hit his warm face.
"Oh Sapphire?" He called tauntingly. "Here kitty kitty."
The swift shadow that ran past him indicated she had responded to him.
"How'd you get out?" She hissed.
Just her voice could be heard as she watched him from the shadows. Ze's eyes scattered about trying to find her, but she was practically invisible.
"That's for me to know sweetheart." He teased.
She wasn't too amused and showed it as she swiftly decked him out of the middle of nowhere. He spiraled back into the rail of the bridge, looking back at the huge drop. Sapphire tried to hit him again, but dodged it this time and slipped around her backside, kicking her square in the back.
