I was being carried down a hallway. Their arms where wrapped around my body in a firm yet comforting grip stoping me from falling to the ground. My head was splitting in pain and all I could focus on was keeping my breath steady and my eyes closed. The loud echoing music could be heard from behind me but the more we walked, the more the sound faded into the background.
The sound of a door opening was the next thing I heard, the hands around me shifted just as my eyes flickered open for one second to see me in a new room. It was darker in here, cooler somehow.
I then felt myself being lowered onto something soft, the sent of clean linen filling the area as I was tucked into bed. My eyes stayed shut, the pain in my head too bad to risk opening them.
Soon I heard the footsteps of someone leaving and then the light sound of the door closing and I knew then that I was alone.
It was maybe moments later, really it could of been hours later judging time was really not a priority as I lay in a mess of my own head. I heard the door open again and this time with a low 'creeeek'.
I grimace pulling the sheets over my face at the sound.
I heard the footsteps nearing the bed, the new unknown presence in the room making my heart thud just that little bit faster.
"Charlie?" A voice said from beside me a hand reaching to gently peel the covers away from my face.
With blurred squinted eyes a silent gasp left my lips at the sight of him standing there.
"Are you ok?" He looked concerned, he never looks concerned.
I tried to answer him, but the pain was now drumming down on my eyelids and I couldn't help but close my eyes in the hope of easing the throbbing.
"Charlie?" He repeated softly, I felt his cold finger tips press down on my wrist which lay above the covers "is it your head? Liam mentioned you've been getting these headaches"
I managed to nod my head ever so slightly, the hand around my wrist slowly extracted as he seemed to take a step forward.
"Can I help you?" He paused his face only a few centimeters away "if you want I can stay with you?"
This surely couldn't be real. Him wanting to help me? This had to be a dream.
I shook my head, even though the gesture bought me pain stuttering out "I'll b-be fine, please leave me alone"
Even though he looked displeased he nodded reaching his hand out to mine he squeezed my hand with a sympathetic look. Before leaving the room and closing the door silently behind him.
