I watched as Liam and Fay walked ahead out of the school gates, I was dawdling behind mostly because I was tired and all this pent up stress of attending a fight was starting to hurt my head. First day back, Melissa said I wasn't supposed to be overdoing it. Was attending a fight overdoing it?

"Why are so many of you coming out of school so late?" Mr Henri asked as we walked past him, he had been racking the ground from leaves but stopped when he caught sight of us. He wasn't a teacher as such but he looked after the school grounds and I'm sure he wouldn't be happy to know we were having a fight on the school's property after hours.

"After school detention, sir" Liam lied simply as we passed.

"Hm" he frowned as if he didn't quite believe him, but let us pass without another question anyway.

"Do you think the schools going to find out about the fight?" Fay asked as we crossed the street, leaving school behind us.

"Only if someone says something" Liam replied "let's just hope Declan's ok and doesn't end up at the hospital tonight"

"It was a pretty hard hit to the ground ..." She replied hauntingly "your brother really wasn't holding back"

"No he wasn't" Liam agreed before swinging his car keys round on his fingers "and now look who has to take that idiot home before he misses her curfew"

"Your taking him home tonight?" Fay asked with raised eyebrows, looking intrigued.

"I'm supposed too" He said "Normaly he can't stand to be in the same room as me without leaving, but he's even trusting me to drive his car ... Well since mum won't let him anymore and he cant be seen behind the wheel or she'll kill him"

"Can I catch a ride with you tonight then?" She asked suddenly looking very interested.

"Hey, I thought you were walking home with me tonight?" I asked Fay before Liam could reply.

"I was, but come on Charlie this'll be fun" She grinned "Charlie can come too, can't she Liam?"

He looked taken aback "I guess but-"

"That's great!" She said excitedly "See? We'll catch a ride with the hunter brothers it'll be much more quicker"

"I'd rather walk" I said biting down on my lower lip.

"Charlie don't be silly, walking will take much longer" She replied.

"Are you sure you want to come Fay, I mean have you met my brother?" He said with a furrowed look.

"Seriously guys come on" She replied turning to me with a a look "Charlie you're coming with me, whether you like it or not"

I sighed wishing Fay wasn't so stubborn some days "Fine, but I want you to take me straight home Liam"

"Sure, we pass your house on the way to ours anyway so it's no problem" He nodded with a smile.

"So where is this car of his?" Fay asked as we walked down the street adjacent to the school.

"Round here" Liam said pointing around the corner.
