He reminded me of a wolf, the way he just stood there staring, saying nothing and not moving.

Finn was just watching me by the door, with curious narrowed eyes, like a wild animal would stalking it's prey. The silence was uncomfortable to endure, the tension slowly building in the room and I didn't know where to look. His presence alone had made my pulse quicken and my palms sweat.

I wasn't blind to how handsome he was or rather how idiotically good looking he was, I'd be insane to think he wasn't.

It was hard to pull my eyes away from his intimidating beauty and to stop myself from openly devouring the image of him. With his tousled dark brown hair that looked lustrous and thick to the touch. And his firm jawline looking dangerously masculine and his plump inviting lips . . .

I mentally slapped myself. What was I thinking? This is Finn's lips I was staring at. Finn's Lips.

I listened to Liam in the hallway answering the phone to his mother. The polite chatter echoing through to the silent kitchen in a striking contrast.

I fidgeted by the counter, breaking contact with his eyes to look down at the tiled floor. This was starting to get too uncomfortable,  it had probably only been five minutes since Liam left but it felt like hours.

Finn moved out of the kitchen doorway suddenly, startling me as he walked over.

He chuckled at my clear discomfort, stopping two steps away beside the kitchen sink "you look nervous" He noted.

I raised my head to look at him at this, I was surprised he had spoken at all "I'm not" I replied whilst the pounding of my heartbeat pulses in my ears.

"Really?" He questioned with a leveled look "It's like I scare you sweetheart, and the speed of your breathing reveals just how much. Does my presence intimidate you?"

"No it doesn't" I said firmly, but my eyes flickered away from his. Keeping the hold of his intense gaze was uncomfortable.

"For some strange reason I just don't believe you" He replied with a teasing smirk, his voice laced with sarcasm.

I made no thought to reply. Finn just loved to get under people's skin and I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of getting under mine.

"You and my brother sure seem cosy" He mentioned casting a look in my direction and shooting me a smile that I didn't return.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, wondering what he could possibly mean by that.

He chuckled clearly knowing something I didn't as his tone grew patronizing "It's not nice to lead people on Charlie, you know people could get hurt"

My eyes widened at his comment looking up at him in a instant "Me and Liam are just friends. I am not leading anyone on"

How dare me excuse me of that. Me and Liam both know where we stand in our relationship. Who gave him the right to judge us?

He smirked across at me "Perhaps you don't realize it, but by the way he looks at you . . ." he sucked in through his teeth making a low whistle sound as he shook his head.

I blinked twice before saying "Liam and I have been friends for our whole lives, he's like a brother to me"

"Well I can tell you for certain, he doesn't view you as a sister " His eyes trailed slowly down my body and I squirmed, wishing running clothing wasn't so skin tight.
