"toy. broom broom want." louis said pointing to a red toy car.
I nodded pushing the cart to where the toy was.
Today I decided that it'd be a good idea to go food shopping since my refrigerator is empty. im not so sure if i was being 100% honest with louis yesterday. like ive said before, im not ready to take care of a child thats not even mine!
i eyed the tiny red car. my eyes bulged out in shock. $45 for a damn toy car? i gulped looking at louis fascinated by the toy.
I took my wallet out seeing how much money i brought. i looked back up louis with sad eyes.
"sorry pal, i didnt bring enough money." his smile faltered. "it ok dada." he put the toy back on the shelf.
oh how i dont like seeing the little guy upset but i really didnt bring enough. i only brought enough for food and maybe a couple of clothes for louis.
i sadly smiled at him. i pushed the cart too the little kid's section. ive always wanted to dress up a kid with cute clothes and louis is here to make that happen.
"baby you want some clothes yeah?" i asked making louis' eyes go much more brighter. "yeee" he giggled moving in his seat trying to get off the cart. i laughed putting him down. he quickly disappeared in a rack of clothes.
i shook my head laughing at his cuteness. my eyes brightened as i saw a pair of jeans, i quickly matched it with a cute ninja turtles shirt.
I heard an excited shriek coming from the rack of clothes that louis went to. i turned around with a huge smile to show him what i found for him.
my smile dropped eyeing what he had in his hand.
"can i try this on dada? please it so pretty." he asked looking at me with hopeful looks. I automatically shook my head saying no.
"no louis youre a boy you cant try on a pink dress, dresses are for girls" i said snatching the dress from his had and putting it back on the rack.
his lip quivered. "im s-sorry dada, dont h-hit me please." he said trying to keep his sobs in. my eyes softened at his shaking body.
"baby no im sorry." i kneeled down engulfing him in a hug. "here lets go and see how pretty you look in this dress ok? but please stop crying im sorry i will never hit you and know that ok." i said giving him a sopft peck on his cheek.
i came to the conclusion that his parents probably hit him because he wasnt like the other boys.
and i cant believe i was so close to neglecting him for picking a dress.
i handed the dress back to him. he erupted in giggles quietly saying thank you.
i put the outfit back that i chose on the rack taking louis' small hand in mine. we made it to a room to try what he got on.

"oh my god lou you look beautiful" i said. louis smiled so brightly up at me his cheeks going to the color of the red toy car that we saw earlier . he spinned in a circle.
"want to see baby?"i turned him around so he can face the full body mirror. he gasped slightly. "pretty" he dazed touching the pink fabric.
"you want it?" i asked. he didnt hesitate before he nodded his head. he held his cheeks giggling and spinning one more time.
i took my phone out taking a picture of him and made it my lock screen.
