Prologue

Prologue for 2nd Fanfic

Lu Cang strode to the Royal Study. His usual calm and rigid handsome face was red and taut, full of anger,on the verge of exploding. His pace was so quick, even the Imperial Bodyguards who stood on guard didn't have enough time to stop him. He barged in just like that, without bothering to announce himself or wait for permission.

Annoyed by the sudden intrusion, Jing raised his head. Upon seeing Lu Cang's face, his initially irritated face turned back to its normal stoic self.

"What's wrong?" He asked briefly and shifted his eyes back to the pile of official documents which needed his approval.

Lu Cang tossed his petition in front of Jing. "This!"

Jing wasn't the slightest bit surprised. Not even caring to glance at it. "And?"

"Why did you reject it again??" Narrowing his eyes, Lu Cang questioned Jing through his teeth.

Jing looked at Lu Cang. Sneered and spoke in a mocking tone. "Of course it will be rejected. Did you forget our agreement?"

"No, I want to know the real reason. Why the hell was every fucking petition of mine rejected!" Lu Cang yelled loudly, finally losing his temper. His voice resounded in the room and all the way to the hall.

The bodyguards pretended that they didn't hear anything. They only looked at each other and shrugged their shoulder. This was the usual occasion whenever Lord Lu charged in with that kind of kill everyone expression instead of his usual emotionless manner.

Jing put down his brush. Locked his eyes with the angry Lu Cang's eyes, like a cock fight.

This wasn't the first time Jing rejected Lu Cang's petition about going on an Expedition with Mu Yue. Also this wasn't the first time Lu Cang came to protest loudly. He clearly knew that his petition would never be granted, yet he never ceased his attempts to write them. Stubbornly asked and asked to go on an expedition, which was full of danger.

"Would you stop this? How many times already? Don't you get tired?"

"I will only stop if you grant my petition." Lu Cang gave Jing his stubborn attitude.

Looking at this kind of Lu Cang, Jing couldn't help but to tease him. "No. I have never seen a Princess in the battlefield before. Have you?" Straight faced said his taunt, as if that was the truth.

"Damn you!! Bastard!!"

This time, the guards couldn't help but shrink. The one and only person who dared to talk like this to the Emperor and actually got away with it was definitely Lord Lu. Others would have to forfeit their life on a mere 'no' to the Emperor.

Lu Cang absolutely loathed to be addressed with any feminine title, yet Jing often used this to ridicule him.

"Who did you call a Princess??"

Jing watched amusingly at the predicted reaction. The adorable angry face that he loved so much. Jing never got tired of teasing Lu Cang only to see this kind of expression on him.

With a sudden impulse, he pulled Lu Cang's front robe and seized those trembling slightly opened lips in his mouth. Sucking it like some kind of sweet candy. Reducing that angry yelling voice into a mere mutter.

Lu Cang shoved him off and quickly wiped his stained with Jing's fluid mouth. Glaring fiercely at Jing. His lips suffered a numbing sensation from that sucking.

"Jing!! You seriously pissed me off. I swear!! If I ever find someone better than you, I will leave you!!" Lu Cang was extremely furious to be treated as a weak woman.

"Hmph!! As if there is someone better than me..." Jing lightly brushed Lu Cang's threat off.

"Fine...." After pondering for a while, Jing said his approval in his usual playful tone.

"Fine? What fine??" Lu Cang was taken aback by Jing's answer. He always had a doubt whenever Jing complied too easily aside from the thing he thought would be amusing.

"I will grant your petition."

"Really??!!" Lu Cang exclaimed, almost jumping for joy. Jing finally granted his Expedition petition.

With whole face smiling, Jing continued with his words. "Yes... but... I will go too."

"You will come too??" Lu Cang couldn't believe his ears. His heart was suddenly feeling all warm and excited. Jing coming with him was something he actually wished for.

"What? May I not??" Jing could see his pure delight upon hearing that Jing would come with him, but chose to tease him again.

"No...That's Perfect!" This time, Lu Cang gave him a brief kiss on the cheek to show his gratitude.

So... the next adventure begins.........
