Starry Sky Glittering Dew
"Jing...you sure this is fine?"
"Believe me... When have I ever lied to you?"
Lu Cang fell silent. Both of them knew perfectly the lies Jing had subjected Lu Cang to already couldn't be counted, as they were too many. Yet, this beautiful devil had the nerve to ask him this obvious thing?
"Nope. You absolutely definitely surely will never lie to me." Jing couldn't restrain his laughter upon Lu Cang's obvious sarcasm.
Both of them had gotten off the luxurious boat which took them to the northern bank of the West Lake.
Walking hand in hand on the winding covered with thin snow path of the mountain, the sound of the rustling leaves of the bamboo trees had been accompanying them along their slow and leisured steps. This small mountain was covered by a dense bamboo forest. The air was fresh and the serene sounds of nature truly could calm the very soul of a man.
Jing told him that once they reached the peak, Lu Cang could see the most amazing scenery in his life. Though Lu Cang couldn't help but be doubtful, could there be anything more amazing than Jing himself?
Even if Hangzhou was his hometown, Lu Cang rarely had the chance to enjoy the scenery. The reason was mostly because he was too occupied with his duties as a Bandit King. Having grown up in the mountain, Lu Cang was so used to the sight of mountains that he honestly couldn't really appreciate the beauty. For him, mountains were nothing more than to serve as a strong fortress. Therefore, he was slightly skeptical when Jing told him about this little mountain.
This little mountain actually lived up to Jing's description. It indeed had a mysterious and mighty aura to complement its stunning landscape. Countless red rocks were spread around and added to the unique features of the little mountain.
Jing had claimed this mountain as his personal property, commoners were prohibited from stepping foot on this mountain, thus the nature and its wildness remained untouched. At some points on the mountain, Jing had ordered the construction of pavilions as his resting places. Seemingly he often came to this place before.
"Few more steps ahead, there will be a little pavilion. Let's have a rest there for a while..."
Lu Cang nodded his head. He had no other better option as his hand was firmly held and he didn't want to carelessly move about in this unfamiliar place. Who knows, maybe he would encounter a mountain bandit here.
Musing himself with his own ridiculous thoughts, Lu Cang failed to notice that Jing had dragged him to enter the pavilion. When he came to his senses, he realized that the long clothes that were fastened on his waist had been unknotted by Jing. For a moment, he watched in a daze as his trousers slowly slid to his feet since the sash that held his trousers was pulled away.
"Jing!!" Lu Cang narrowed his eyes dangerously when he saw in horror how Jing laughed evilly while waving his sash in the air. "Give it back!!"
"No." Obviously enjoying Lu Cang's flustered face, Jing laughed at the Lu Cang who busily pulled his trousers up to its respective place, --- Lu Cang's face was red to the extreme, he gritted his teeth to suppress his embarrassment.
All of a sudden, a brilliant light brushed pass Lu Cang's eyes. Very slowly, he moved closer to Jing. "Give it back..."
Busily kept the sash away from Lu Cang's hand, Jing smiled mischievously. "Take it if you can."
