CHAPTER 19: Consoling Him

---Next Day---

*Melany POV*

It's 9 am and Jc and I just get to his place. And when we entered, is silent.

It seems like it's no one there, but then I notice that Kian is sleeping in the leaving room, so I go and wake him up.

"Kian" I say whispering, but it's definitely not enough to wake him. And Jc gives me a little hand.

"HEY YOU PIECE OF SHIT" Jc screams in Kian's ear. Jc says a lot of insults to Kian, but Kian keeps quiet. Weird.

"Kian, do you know where Melissa is?" I ask.

"She is sleeping in my room" He seems sad, depressed; I make signs with my hand to tell Jc to leave us alone, and he gets it instantly.

"Kian... What's wrong? What happened?" I ask him and he just takes a deep breath. I can see a tear falling from his cheek, so I hug him.

"Melany, I just don't get it" Kian says "I don't get how she hates me, I know that I'm not perfect, but am I that bad? I mean, first you reject me and now her?" I look in front of me, and I see Melissa standing at the top of the stairs, hearing what he just said.

"Look Kian, everything is going to be alright! You are a bright man, and you can handle anything that gets in your way! Don't you like challenges?" I say to cheer him on.

*Melissa POV*

Is Kian seriously that hurt? I really don't know what to do, I don't know if I can trust dating someone who had a crush with my sister tho...

When I see them together talking, it hurts, he looks at her with his beautiful brown eyes; am I jealous? I can't be! And what if he still likes my sister? He's wasting his time because she is taken.

THEY ARE HUGGING!!!! Ok Melissa, calm down.

When I see Melany leaving, I approach Kian, and he is cleaning his tears, so I go on, sit next to him, and I hug him.

"Hey Melissa!" he says "How did you sleep?" he turns around trying to hide his tears.

"I got to say you have a really comfortable bed" I tell him laughing, and I give him a little push.

This conversation reminds me of when I first met him, but now we are without the pressure of the possibility of something happening between us. I'm really glad I told him the truth, but at the same time, I can't deal seen him with another girl.

"MELISSA, HERE YOU ARE!" Melany runs over to me. "You know, I was talking with Jc and we decided to throw a party here, isn't that awesome!?" She says really excited "What do you guys think!?" Kian and I smile at here and she just leaves jumping up and down.

"Well, she really wants to party, doesn't she?" I say laughing and Kian just turns to me, gives me a fake smile and gets up from the couch we were sitting on, and he leaves.

I need to do something to fix this. I can't handle this depressed version of Kian.
