CHAPTER 22: Nice Guy

*Kian POV*

We continue kissing on my bed, and it feels so good to be wanted by her. FINALLY. She grabs my face and kisses me like no one has before. I grab her waist and sit her on top of me.

But, it's not ok, she is drunk, maybe not too drunk, but she is not sober, so that makes it be wrong.

She starts to unbutton my shirt and I...

"Stop!" I tell her, I'm probably going to regret this later. "Melissa, this is not right, you have no idea how much I want this, and..." I look into her puppy eyes "oh my god, you are so incredible beautiful, but if you want this to happen while you are sober, it will happen"

She seems confused, and just sits there in my bed with her legs crossed.

"Kian, I am not as drunk as you think, but you are right, and thank you for making me notice this" she says and holds my hand "you are a nice guy"

She lays her head on my pillow, and deeply falls asleep.

To think that just a few hours ago she was here just making me some company, and I acted like such a jerk with her.

How could I ever scream to a face like that? How could someone do any harm to her?

I put on something decent so I can go upstairs, and I know that most of the time I don't give a crap, but right now the house is packed. So I do and I quickly go to the kitchen and grab something to drink.

"KIAN! MY BOY! IM SO GLAD YOU FINLLAY SHOWED UP!" I turn around, it's Jc, oh wait, it's not Jc. It's drunk Jc.

"Hey Jc, having a good time?" I ask to see if I can tell his level of drunkenness.

"Well, not as much as you are" he says "if you know what I mean" he whispers in my ear.

"I actually don't know what you mean" I answer, and he just winks at me. Does he think that Melissa and I... had sex? Well, to be honest I would probably think so too.

I really don't want to have an argument with him in the middle of the party with everyone here, and even less with him this drunk, so I just smile.

"That's my man!" he screams at me while I make my way downstairs. That's just funny to me, so I giggle; he'll probably not be able to remember any of this in the morning, so I'm chilling.

I open the door to my room and Melissa is sleeping there, just as she was when I left, so calmed and gorgeous.

I lay next to her and continue watching Netflix, a Disney movie like always, while drinking my glass of water.

A few minutes later I fall asleep.

--The Next Morning--

I woke up, and Melissa is not here, I'm alone in my room, with no note, nor a text from her.

Should've guessed that...
