Stiles POV
Malia was passed out on one of the motel beds I had managed to carry her too. It wasn't easy making it upstairs with the content fear a police officer would jump out of nowhere and the confused glances of by passers didn't help. I was still covered in sweet and my body pumping with fear, I knew a shower a would help but I couldn't make myself leave the small girl laying on the bed.
"Stiles?" A soft voice said behind me, causing me to turn slightly. Malia was sitting up slightly on the bed and looking around with a confused look on her face.
"Yeah, we're fine." I responded forcing myself smile, I knew everything I was saying was a lie but I knew Malia should still rest for a bit.
"So Scott really did..." She started and I nodded my head, keeping my graze on her face. I could see a small bruise starting on her face and I remembered the sick feeling that swarmed in my gut the moment I saw the handcuff lock around my wrist. Not that my best friend was betraying me, but the fact Malia might be dragged to jail with me and it would have been all my fault.
"You can still rest a bit longer." I said softly but she shook her head.
"Stiles whats wrong?" She asked sitting up more on the bed. I could feel her legs gently hit my back where I had gotten cut earlier and I winced.
"I just, why didn't you run the moment you saw the handcuffs?" I mumble. Suddenly I feel Malia sit completely up on the bed, her hand gently wrapped around my arm to keep herself up right.
"Because I couldn't leave you behind." She whispers looking at me with an almost unsure look on her face.
"Really?" I ask glancing up at her in almost disbelief. This girl was known to be selfish, partly where her nickname came from. Coyote's were cowards and would do only themselves good, they didn't run in a pack for that very reason. I had thought Malia would be the same but it seems I was wrong.
"I would never leave you behind." She finished more sure this time, I soon noticed our faces were getting closer until our noses almost touched. Her hazel eyes met mine as she stayed there for a second, before pushing herself forward so our lips met. I almost feel backwards on the bed before I reached up to hook an arm around her waist to help her sit up properly. Both of her hands quickly found my face as she straddled my waist, slowly my hands started to make their way up higher on her back.
"Mal." I whispered to her softly as we broke away for breath.
"Hmm." She mumbled back her hands now resting on the back of my neck as she pulled away more to look me in the eye
"As much as I would love to make out with you all day, we should probably get going before the cops catch up to us." I say and I watch as her cheeks turn slightly pink as she gets off my lap.
"What are we going to do without a car?" She asks, trying to stop things from getting awkward. I only smirked at her as I grab my black backpack and slipped it over my shoulders.
"We won't be carless for long."
~~~
Honestly I stolen plenty of cars before, I mean I preferred to be with Roscoe. But that didn't seem to be on option.
"I can hot wire." Malia says from behind me when we find our way into a parking lot. There were plenty of cars here and not many people around but we still needed to work fast. Getting caught would be the death of both of us, no questions asked.
"Than, please, tell me what car you want." I say dramatically as I trow my arms out and spin around to face her.
"That one." She says confidently and points to a shinny black car. I smile at her choice, I mean if I tried hard enough I could make it look like a batmobile.
"Good choice. Now come over here so no one can see you." I hiss as Malia crouches down and meets me by the black car. Quickly I grab a hanger from my backpack, thankfully the car was an older one so it still had the key lock out side.
Careful not to touch the car incase of an alarm I slip the hanger into the door and twist it around.
"You do this a lot, don't you?" Malia laughs as she watches me fiddle around.
"You've spent two weeks with me, what do ya think." I respond before I hear the lovely sound of a click, quickly I reach up and pull on the door handle, lucky the door swings open and I cast Malia a smile. I watch as she jumps to her feet and into the car.
I keep watch as Malia begins to hot wire the car, no one has walked out of the store yet and as long as there car wasn't near here we'd be fine. Suddenly I hear the car roar to life, Malia hops over to the passenger seat and gives me a wicked smile.
"Come on, we should get going." She says and I jump into the car and slam the door shut. Before quickly speeding off.
~~~
Malia was laughing about something and I wasn't quiet sure what yet, but I was laughing too.
"How long do we have before someone realizes they're car is gone." She sputters out between giggles and I shake my head.
"Well ditch it soon enough." I shout as I too was trying to stop from laughing. Malia turns slightly to face me, a smile spread across her face as she stares at me. Honestly she was one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen, without makeup covering her face. She looked natural and adorable, or the fact that she also looked like she break your arm with one hand.
"What are you looking at." She giggles as she tries to whip her face of tears that had come from laughing so hard.
But I wasn't laughing anymore, I only had a smile spread across my face.
"You."
A/N- This is making me with Stalia had more cute scenes in season 5, but whatever.
